I Loved being at camp. When go to camp you don't want to go back home. I think the Best part of being at camp was being with your friends learning more about them and their capabilities. When your walking through the woods on the trails wondering what are we goanna do next? Is this goanna be a long hike or a short? Are we goanna have fun or will it be lame?
But out of everything we did at camp going to Split Rocks with Donte' and Katelyn was the best. When we got their they done took off before I even got anywhere. But we meet up and we were flying threw the rocks jumping over from rock to rock. Me and Donte' were encouraging Katelyn to take a chance and she made it. Finally when we had to go back to the group me and Donte' got on a dead tree that's laying across the rocks when you first arrive and we walked across them slowly we almost fell but we made it.
I loved it at camp. If you didn't go you missed out on a lot of fun. We also learned a lot of good helpful knowledge.

What I In joyed about camp is seeing people I don't know that well and my friends. I like hanging out with all of my friends enjoying our selves learning and having fun. The class I enjoyed the most was forest ecology because we got to go down to split rock. Split rock Is big rocks that you can try to get through or you can get on top of them and you can jump over them to. Forest ecology is were we learned about trees, plants, and soil. My other part that i liked was free time. Free time Is when you can play a game with all your friends and you can play with other people that might not be a friend and you can play with them.
At camp Oty'Okwa you can do a lot of fun stuff it was one of the best 3 days ever in my life. I hope all the other kids like camp because i did it was a blast when we were at split rock me and my friends were jumping over the rock and the holes and when we were doing forest ecology we learned there are little white bugs that kill hemlock trees and when we were in geology we got to discover different rocks like quartz, limestone, sandstone. There were different names for them to like Metamorphic,Ingenious,Sedimentary rocks.
At camp Oty'Okwa you will have a blast if you didn't go to camp you should have went because it was amazing to see and explore things we didn't know about in till we went to camp so if did go to camp than good. The best part of camp was hanging out with friends and seeing new people and having fun with every thing we all as a group did together. It was fun working together because you know someone can help you if you make a mistake or forgot what to do other people is good than just one person Try to do something that might need to people to do so you

Something that I enjoyed while I was at camp was the campfire. It was my favorite thing because it brought smiles and laughter to everyone. Everyone in their trail groups had to make a skit and then at the final fire we would all act them out. I thought that it was going to be so cool and awesome because it was a chance to show everyone who you really are and to bring out your true personality and everyone did! I thought that each group did a great job on it and they really could be actors! My skit was based on a runway were you show off your outfits and once you got down at the end you asked the next person coming down the runway "Where'd you get your outfit?" and they would say "JC Penny's!" then at the end Skylar from my group came down limping like he got beat up and the rest of the people in my group said "Who are you?" He said I'm JC Penny. So everyone in my group stole their outfits from JC Penny!
When I get older this will definitely be something that I will look back at and remember all of the fun things that I did at Camp Oty'Okwa and all the awesome friends that I got to share it with! I hope you liked my post about what I enjoyed while I was at camp!

When I went to camp with six grade, I had the best time ever! We sure did a lot of things, but my absolute favorite was split rock! At split rock each of us had to have a partner for help and to explore together. My partner was a really good friend of mine, ''Tyler'' and we sure did a lot of things at split rock. We first explored around it, then we started climbing and jumping, and at one jump I had to help Tyler get across. So after that Tyler and I found a tunnel, cave thing and so we went through it and ended up at the bottom of the rocks! We had to find our way back up, but you couldn't go back up the cave. So we went to try to find somewhere to climb up and we did, but we had a hard time getting up. I first got up and then I had to help Tyler. Then we eventually got up and we was laughing because we couldn't find our way up! When we was at camp my favorite thing at split rock was getting to explore new things and being able to help each other out! And I'll never forget through my life about how everyone helped each other and being able to learn and explore!

The thing I really enjoyed at camp was being at split rock because there were so many cracks, tunnels, and ways you could explore and it was really coll trying to jump to all of these little places you couldn't think you could go to. Also there was at least ten foot drop from one of the cliffs at split rock and the weirdest thing about it was that it didn't go straight down it was slanted.
What I liked best about camp was doing survival because we had to find food, shelter, water, and make a fire in under forty minutes which was a challenge at first but my team thought we had a advantage because we had most of are stuff done because as a shelter we had a cave and we didn't have to make a shelter, are food source was hemlock trees but we would of needed meat for protein and are water source was a little stream following with another little ice cave. I also liked going hiking because you never know what you're going to find, like giant icicles, big caves, and bugs that you would never see and it was cool to see all of those things.
I think what I'll remember from camp a few years from now is going to camp and having fun and not regretting to go there because I had so much fun. Somethings I'll think I will remember is going to split rock and survival because those were my two favorite things. I don't think I'll remember a lot about camp but I think I'll remember some fun things about camp.
I really can't say that I enjoyed just one part of camp because I didn't, I loved all of it the free time when I got To hang out with my friends, going hiking and finding these gul wasp nests, ans also forest ecology because my name was piglet even when we ate because we always had funny conversations I loved everything else at camp because they made it fun to hike and and explore and find different things and they let you explore which I liked about camp.

What I enjoyed at camp the most was Split Rock. If you didn't get to go to Split Rock you missed a great experience. When we went to Split Rock during Geology with Betty, she had all of us pair up before we started climbing and jumping and even crawling under rocks. Paired with Abigail H. we were daring each other to climb a high rock or even jump off a little rock. At Split Rock there was rock that had hole and in those hole there were ice sickles. Betty told us that some rocks act like a filter, when the water comes out the bottom of the rock that water becomes fresh for people to drink. When I think back to when I went to camp I would probably remember Hidden Cave. We went to Hidden Cave during Forest Ecology with Eric, Eric told us we had to answer a question before we went into the Hidden Cave. My question was what is the differences between an Red Oak from an White Oak? I said '' The differences between Red Oak and White Oak are there leaves.'' Then I got to go down into the cave it was so much fun because Abby and I made face paint it was awesome! That's what I enjoyed, what do you enjoy at camp? Also I want to THANK YOU to the people made this possible! It was so AWESOME!

the thing I enjoy the most is that free time is because you get to met with all the up stares gorp and that you can see your friends and I like the bed time because you get to sleep I would Chang the time you wake up because you walk a lot and you are going to be tired wen you wake up.
the cave was my favorite hike because I like going in the cave my favorite was the big cave because ti had a hole you can go throw and come out in other cave but not much people can go throw it because it was a tight squeeze
split rock was fun it was like a maze go throw all of the rocks can git you lost but it was fun I fell a lot. the was OK it was not the best you got a go amount. my favorite was the grid cheese

Camp was an amazing experience for me and many others. In so many ways it's hard to list what we encountered, but I will share a few. It allowed me and other individuals to bond. That's not even the most important part. The most important one would be that we have learned some truly amazing lessons.
Some of the lessons we learned are how to use a compass or how to locate things on an map during orienteering. I even learned how to collect food and water, make an shelter and how to start a fire out in the wilderness. I know you may think that's easy, but without the latest technology it's actually quite hard.
Going to camp was like an vacation to me because there, I didn't have to clean or cook for anybody. Though at my house it's an daily thing to do. So, just the three short days at camp were a vacation to me. That's the reason why camp was special to me!
The part that I liked about camp the most would have to be either the classes or free time. The reason why classes would be one of my favorites because I learned many new things that could be helpful later on in life. Such as If I were to get stranded out in the woods with no food, water or shelter, the class on survival would take place and possibly save my life. Or even the orienteering class could take place if I got lost going on an car trip.
When I look back at Camp sometime in life I will always remember the good times we had. But mostly I will remember how we sat around the fire, and did the most hilarious skits I've ever seen and or heard. My top two favorites were Wee and the Shoe Of Fortune. The reason why Wee was one of my favorites is because at the end everybody started screaming Wee. I was in the skit Wee.
The reason why the Shoe Of Fortune was of my favorites is because someone would smell their shoes and give them a funny fortune, such as you will grow up to be an successful entrepreneur... of an toilet paper company.
Also just to let my readers know once you go to camp you will never be the same! So that's my post about Camp Oty'Okwa. Thanks for reading!!!

Camp Oty Okwa was the best 3 days of my life!I I learned a lot, while having a lot of fun! I had the most amazing time of my life! In this post I'll talk about what made camp so amazing and meaningful also. What made camp special for me was ... more of the responsibility of taking care me not my parents, exploring the beautiful outdoors, and getting to learn and not be bored out of my gourd. I truly think for those reasons is why we went to camp. It makes sense if that is why. More of the responsibility of taking care me not my parents, exploring the beautiful outdoors, and getting to learn and not be bored out of my gourd are the things that made camp special because those things gave m a new view on the world. My favorite part about camp was split rock and the campfire. Why the camp fire was one of the best things is because we could do the skits, sing songs, goof off, and have a fun relaxing time with friends. At the camp fire it was let loose and having fun.Why split rock was on of the best is because there is a funny story behind it. At one point I got stuck and got lost, so I just kept on going. I finally saw my group, but there was a big gap to get across. I turned around and there was two boys were behind me and they helped me get over. I found out from my group the boys had followed me the whole way. Those were the best parts of camp! As I think back at camp I will remember the new friendships made and the fun times. I made at least ten new friends and they are great. The friendships we made at camp will last forever. Someday Camp Oty Okwa as we has changed our lives! !

I am so tired but it was worth it that is the most fun I have had in a long time. I am back from Camp Oty' Okwa and the most fun and exiting part of Camp I have had with my group is counselors cave!
It is big and it had allot of rocks and moist sand it was just so cool. I got to take some rocks home I found some cool red rocks and paper thin rocks. I also found some little white rocks I don't know what those rocks were called. Me and Tyler P. was running around and went through this tight small tunnel we had sand all over us. The really cool part of the cave was the big ice slide that was really cool but the sad part was is that we were not allowed to slide down it.
I did so much more exiting stuff but I think counselors cave was my favorite! I hope you liked counselors cave to, I know I did. Thank you camp Oty' Okwa for everything you did for Salt Creek and cooking meals for like 160 students. I hope I see you again soon!
THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!

This post is going to be about my favorite experiences from camp Oty' Okwa. I will talk about my classes, meals, free time, bed time, and how long it took to get in the showers.
I had two classes a day. One in the morning and one evening. The classes lasted for 3 hours so I brought everything I might need because we where out on the trails and we could not go back for anything. So I brought a water bottle, poncho, first ad kit, hand sanitizer, a flashlight, ect.
I think my favorite class was survival because we got to make our own shelter with twigs and logs. After that we made the shelters we headed to Phantom Cave. When we got there our instructer gave us time to explore while she made the fire. When she was done she called us over and we talked about what are favorite thing about the class was I said making the shelters and getting to know people that I did not know at 8:00 that morning.
The meals where always fun because I sat with Abby McDonald and Lexi Parsons we always had a spill and I mean at every meal. It was really funny because Abby spilled silver where on Emma Resse. It was so funny we laughed and laughed in the end she laughed with us. As soon as the food got sat on the table it would be gone so we would have to refill. We refilled a lot and when I say a lot that is what I mean.
Our cabins where nice it was in a big room that had like 30 bunk beds in it in. I liked it because all most all of my friends where in my cabin. Before we all went to bed we all told scary story's and just made each other laugh.
Thank you for reading and hope you enjoined my post and I would love to hear what you my readers have to say. THANK YOU FOR READING!!!!!!!!!

Camp was awesome, I had a blast! I love to be outside in the woods that's my comfort zone to be in the woods. I had fun with my friends and we all had a good time at camp. Camp had some stuff that I didn't like, but I did them.
The thing I mostly enjoyed was split rock. Split rock was fun getting to climb all over the rocks. I learned a lot of different strategy's, like to get to the top of the rocks. I found different places than I found in the fall. It's was the what I enjoyed most.
This was really special to me because I love to go out on an adventure. They had lots of woods and hills to make that fun for me and everyone at camp. The other thing that was special to me was getting to have fun with my friends. That is why camp was special to me.
The best thing at camp was going on hikes and seeing the caves and rocks. I also loved survival. We got to build a shelter and learn how to make a fire and food and water. When we went to the caves they were awesome, we got to climb all over the rocks. That was fun and the best thing I did.
As I get older I will remember being at camp and having fun with my friends. I will also remember split rock and the caves, but the thing that I will remember most is survival. The thing is I had fun making the shelter and fire was awesome. So that what I will remember.
That all the fun I had at camp. It was a good experience and the fifth grade will have a blast next year. That's it, hope you liked it.

The 6th grade went to camp this past week on Wednesday, March 26 and came back Friday, March 28. We all had a blast, well the people who went, some 6th graders didn't go and they should have because it was awesome, and I mean one of the funniest field trips I've taken. There are other field trips that were as fun as this, but did you get to spend three days there? I'm guessing NOT or NO. A big fat NO I've never taken a three day field trip. I bet you didn't and if you comment on this post I'd like to hear about it. I guess we didn't call it a field trip here but I would consider it cause its with school, and your whole grades going and you aren't in school for that day or days.
What one of my favorite parts were, is getting to go to split rook. It was awesome we climbed, jumped, fell, slid, and just had a blast. When you would fall it wouldn't hurt that bad just a second or two. I never fell but I saw some people and they just got right back up. It was so exciting I can't explain it I mean I gave a good description but that's not even half of it. I mean it was one of the funnest camps I have gone to! What wasn't exciting was I'm scared of heights but I got though it except when I got to the edge of a really and I mean steep part. Another thing is when we had to leave I wanted to stay there for ever and ever or just a little longer than what we were there for.
Another thing I loved about camp was the meals. My table had a great time together we laughed and laughed and laughed, it was so funny at times that you laughed so hard that tears can out of your eyes. At lunch one day it wasn't funny at the time but now that I look back at it, it's so funny. What had happened is it was just another day at lunch and this guy at my table is going to sit down the tray and it's a little to big, and I had a almost full glass of milk and he sits down that tray and the milk spills all over me. So when I got done eating I went to go change my clothes and put them in a bag and when I home from camp I never touched that but my mom did and I feel bad for her and guess what I smelled when she opened it, a nasty milk smell. It was pretty funny and you should have saw my face it looked so funny.
I also enjoyed the big camp fire the last night we were there. It was so funny we did skits, watched the big fire get lit it was just one of the funniest camp fires ever. The skit my group put on is this guy had a centipede and it would do all kinds of tricks and one was to jump over the counselor and so he or she did and when it got to the ended he peed all over the counselor it was so funny!!!
Also when I was at camp we went to caves it was so fun there was a ton of ice. You weren't aloud to get on the ice but you could touch it with your fingers. It was awesome felling and it had bubbles in It from where the water had been dripping on the ice and then making more ice on top of it. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen!!! Also in the cave with the ice bubbles there was a great big and I mean big pile of ice. It looked like a throne. It was awesome!!!
It was fun when we went on a scavenger hunt. We had to use compasses to find out what way to go to get to the next spot where the next bag would be. The group I was in sometimes couldn't fined where the next bag was so we had to retrace our steps and go back to the spot where our last find was. It was sometimes hard but the most part it was fun.
That's all my favorite things at camp. Plus somethings we just did and I thought was fun.
