There was a lot of things about camp that I enjoyed but the thing that I really enjoyed was the campfire. It was a time where we all got to sit down have some laughs and we did skits. At first I thought that it was going to be boring and everyone is going to be immature, but they weren't and they were quiet and respectful. And then came the skits. Every group did a skit all of them were funny. Ours (group 10) we did ours where one kid pretended to be a monster under a sleeping bag. We got a buddy and checked under and had to run off screaming. Evan and me were last. We had to act like the big and strong guys but then we ran off faster than everyone else. We sung songs and just had a good time. To sum it all up, it was awesome!

The one thing that stood out was split rock. We had to use team work in a lot of places. The reason is because you were ether to small or didn't have enough strength. Your height and weight came into play when you got to the tiny spots. If you were to tall you couldn't get in the low spaces. Now if you weighed to the skinny spots would be hard for the bigger people to get in. Like me. My height came against me in a few spots. It was tight and the big rocks where shifted so you couldn't get into a few tiny spots. Marissa and me ended up helping Jeremy get out of the rocks. The reason why is because he was getting to far and couldn't find his way out.
I didn't go in to many places because I wanted Danny and Dylan to go so we could find our way out if we got stuck. It was like it was never going to end because of all the holes we went in. Some places you could get in but they were just a dead end. We found a few of them and had to back track.
Oh I almost forgot to tell you were. Well it's in camp Oty Okawa. In Hocking county Ohio. I live really close so I knew how to walk down steep hills plus climb up them. I really enjoyed it. Well now you know some facts. Why wouldn't you wanna go there. Get out to them woods explore.

What I enjoyed about camp was really everything! But what I liked a lot were all the meals! It was nice to come in and having the table being set by the hoppers and just being ready to dig to a yummy meal! What made it a special was it kinda felt like a family! Weird but, it really did! Everyone asking to pass the mashed potatoes or the pancakes just going back and forth fighting over the salt! That's what families do! Fight over who gets the last piece of sausage, but Camp Oty' Okwa's rule if you kill you fill it, which came in good handy! What I liked best was Split Rock! At Split Rock they have these humongous rocks stacked on top and side to side that you can go through, it's kinda like a maze! Jumping and climbing over the huge rocks, so much fun! All the kids got to explore and run around smiling and laughing about camp. Even though some kids got lost and almost fell it was so much fun! It's my favorite place their! What I would remember about camp would probably be how much people got to know each other! Like I said people I have just met that day, when we ate, it felt like a family! And we had 7 meals together plus 2 snacks! It was pretty cool and it brought you closer with your friends too! It was a awesome experience and everyone should have the opportunity to experience it also! I hope everybody had the same experience as I did!

Today in Language Arts my class and I were assigned to write about something we enjoyed at camp. One thing I enjoyed about camp was unpacking my luggage and making the bed. I know it sounds lame but it wasn't to me. When I walked in to my lodge my friend Abby H. had a bunk saved for me and two other friends, Abby M. and Chloe. It was a creaky wooden box with a hard mattress on top. I was on the bottom and Abby M. was on the top. Abby H. was on the one right next to mine and she was on the bottom so we could talk at night. I was worried that I wouldn't get to be with them but when I saw where I'd be sleeping all of the worries washed away. I unpacked my bedding and started putting the sheet over the mattress. I was having trouble because the elastic kept slipping off the edges of the bed so Chloe helped me. When I finished that I pulled the sleeping bag over the sheet and layered the extra blanket I packed just in case I got cold over the sleeping bag. Then I sat down my pillow. I then stepped back and something was tugging at my stomach. It was a mixture of excitement and accomplishment. I studied the bed and it dawned on me at that moment that I was at camp and I was apart of it. I was so excited as to what would come but then the nerves came. Abby H. yelled my name to come and take a picture and the nerves left and all that was left was anxiousness. I was starting my 6th grade camp Oty' Okwa experience with all of my friends and the new friends I would be meeting, hopefully! It was the best feeling in the world!

Hello today I will be talking about my favorite thing I did at camp. I liked everything but my favorite thing there was the splits rocks. And what made it special for me is that I was walking down there and I found a lot of caves so me and Jayci went through them. And one of the caves we went through one side of the walls were on my knees and so when we were at a rock I looked at my knees and I found bruises on my knees. And then we walked through some more caves and none of the caves were on my knees. And what I liked best about the Split Rock was that you could jump from rock to rock. And there are really good hiding spaces and when people would walk by you could just say hello and they would look all over the place and then you would say over here then they would just wave to you then go back to whatever they were doing and when other people came by you would do the same thing again. And when I think back on camp it would the splits rock and remember how I went in a circle 6 times and then final I found my way up. Thanks for reading bye-bye.

At Camp Oty' Okawa I had so much fun and I thought everything was great but if I just had to pick one out of all the things I did, I loved free time. At free time I had lots of time to talk to people and get to know more people. My friends Taryn,Abby,Megan and Emma mostly Taryn and Abby were having so much fun and Tia was always so much fun and we had a great time. At night we had even more fun Abby told me a ghost story about someone tapping on the window when you would sleep. Me and Taryn slept by the window which was great so during the story Taryn reached over behind my back and tapped the window and I screamed. I thought that I had a lot of fun during free time especially when me and Taryn and Abby where playing this game. Where me and Taryn were sisters and Carlee was are mom and then Abby said she was are grandma then she said she was are aunt and then I said your are Aunt Grandma. Well me and Taryn had serious problems and we had lessons for everything. What was really funny was when I was eating a candy that Mrs.Hardin gave us and I pretended that I ate the wrapper instead of the candy and Abby said did you remember to go to your eating lessons and then I said no. I am glad they gave us free time because we could hang out with our friends and we would have lots of fun. Some of the people that I hang out with at school I don't really get to hang out with them after school a lot and when we had free time it gave me more time to become better friends with them. I had a lot of fun at Camp Oty' Okawa and if you ever go there it is really fun. I don't know why but free time really stood out to me because it brought me and my friends closer together and we had a lot of fun. I hope maybe someday I will go back to Camp Oty Okawa and see all the cool stuff. There is one thing I can't do if I ever go back there I can't have free time with my best friends.

What I Enjoyed about Camp Oty' OkawaWhat did you enjoy about camp? I enjoyed everything about camp because everything was so AWESOME. One thing I really enjoyed was the Camp Fire/Skits. SkitsThe skits were so funny and I loved all of them. Our skit was suppose to be a scary/funny one because we had Luke under a sleeping bag and two people would go up to him and look under the sleeping bag and would scream. I was with Jalynn, and we screamed so loud, but we started laughing. Then, we had Mr. Weller come down and look under, and when he looked under, Luke screamed and ran away. The other skits were hilarious and I loved the fortune teller one. FireI also loved the fire, and that's also where we did the skits. The fire was huge and when people were up there, it looked like they were glowing. The reason why we had our fire was really cool. There was this whole story behind it and the camp workers were acting out the story behind it. The reason why we had it was because we need fires to survive and the story was about a boy and a girl and it was pouring out. They needed to get warm, but they couldn't find a dry place, so they sailed out to a cave and found some dry bark and started a fire. They took the bark back and told their parents about it, but they said: "You kids can't start a fire, your to young." So they started one their and the showed their parents, and that's how they got a fire. So that proves you always need a fire to survive. What really made it a special event for you? The fire and skits were special to me because you got to see your friends and got to learn what a fire really means. It was really special because everybody enjoyed it and the camp workers worked really hard to set it up. I wish we could have stayed longer, because I think that was the best time of my life ever. I also found out what Oty' Okawa really meant, " It means brotherhood!!" Thank you teachers for taking us!! I hope you had the best experience as I did!! Enjoy!!

I liked almost everything at camp. My favorite thing at camp was the class, survival. The group I was in was Group 9. In survival we learned how to find food also water. We also learned how to make a shelter and make fire. We found a cave called the seven dwarfs. That is where we made the fire. We made a hole fire.
There are three types of fires there is a tee-pee fire, the hole fire, and last but not least the cabin fire. Then we built the shelter we got a stick that looked like a Y. then we lay'ed the stick up against a tree and got a strait stick and put it between the Y part. After that we got lot of little sticks and put them up against the side of the sides of the strait stick and covered it all with leaves and went inside. After that we looked and talked about water. Then we learned about how to know if some nuts or berries you can eat. Then the class was over.

I really enjoyed camp. I really enjoyed it, my favorite part about camp was going to Split Rock and Orienteering. Split rock had a lot of rocks and it felt like that you would fall down and it had a lot of gaps in it. I wasn't in a mood of going so Abby Hatter told me that you'll be okay, when I went down it felt amazing. When we were on the other side we had to find a way to get back up . When I was getting back up I fitted in a small hole about a size of a cat.
Orienteering was also fun. We had a compass rose where it can tell you the direction of North, South, East, And West. We had to find bags with the compass rose and fill out the paper we had on the clipboard. There were 8 people in my group including me. These were the people in my group Sydney Reeser, Abby Phillips, Abby McPherson, Kaylee Collier, Brylee Haupt, Me, and Jacob Deirfeild. We laughed, enjoyed and were excited.
As I look back at camp I will remember is the Final Fire, Caves, Hills and fun and the awesome moment I had in Oty' Okwa.
P.S. I am willing to go there again.

Everything at camp was absolutely fantastic! But if I had to just pick one thing that was my favorite I think it would be the final fire. It was so much fun. I laughed so hard! We all did these goofy skits. Everyone's skits were awesome. They all made me laugh. I think they all did excellent jobs. They were pretty composed to. And I know it was hard not to laugh. I was so pumped for ours! I knew it was going to be amazing! Its crazy because I wasn't even nervous. I kept waiting and waiting. OF COURSE we were the last ones. I had to be a (fortuneteller). How I told you your fortunes was I would sniff there shoe. I love to act so I was totally up for it! I had to come up with everyone's fortunes. I thought 'okay I'm down with this' I was ready. So I had came up with them with the help of my friend Miss. Abby Phillips (aka little Philly). So once everyone was down and it was our turn I sat down right in front of the fire, crossed my legs, and got into character. I had this crazy accent, and my hair was in two braids and frizzy. So one by one they came down. They would hand me there shoe and I would tell them there fortune. For one of the fortunes, Luke's, I said "you will become an NBA star." he pulls his hands down and shouts "Yes!" Then I say, "but your fame and fortune will overcome you. And you will become homeless." Everyone was laughing. I was having a great time! Once I had finished everyone's I had to pick a member from the crowd. I knew who I was going to pick. From the moment she had said that I had to pick someone I knew who I was picking! "Is Mr. McGuire out there?" I called. He gets up all grumpy. He throws his shoe at me. At that point it was the hardest to contain my laugh. I lift up his smelly shoe and take a weft. "I see a LONG travel in your future!" Then as quick as I can I throw his shoe. I was so much fun! I loved all the skits, but ours was awesome! I loved camp!

The greatest thing about camp was going to Split Rock because I love to explore out side so that was the most fun for me and I have never seen some thing like it before. It looks like a bunch of rocks split they are made of sandstone to it has a great view from the top of the front rocks. Plus I liked going an finding little caves in Split Rock. I liked jump from rock to rock with Seth,Brendan and Cade.
It was cool how all these trees fell down and you could walk across them to another rock on the other side. The most fun there would be playing with my friends jumping from rock to rock climbing up an down that was most fun. It is just so beautiful there at Split Rock I just love it there. Their are some step ledges like 40 feet high that is crazy if fell you would be road kill.
Brendan just walked over the crakes I had to jump most of the I could not just walk across. I was so happy we got to go there. I wish we could of went down in Fat Man Squish but I think it was blocked of but I don't know that. There are some parts that you can not get to because there are to big of crakes that separate it.

What I enjoyed at camp was the caves. Now my favorite cave had to be the secret cave because their was just so much room to where you could basically do whatever you wanted. And what made it really cool was the ice sickles they just looked so cool with the whole cave.
I just looked like all the other kids with the group because when we got to the cave everybody was so excited to go in the cave and explore which we did. And I and probably the rest of the group had a Blast at the secret cave. Also the very first thing I did when we got to the cave was pull out my camera and take A lot of pictures. When I was done with the pictures I found one of my friends and started to walk around with him to see what he was up to.
He wanted to crawl through this hole and he squeezed through then he wanted me to get through I got half way then I was stuck and I had to go in reverse and go out the side I came in. When I got out he was with some of the other people in my group so I caught up to him he asked if I got through I said no.
Then Just when we were about to leave I seen this rock and I had to slide down it because it just looked so fun I got on the rock and when I got up I said I'm not doing this I'm getting off this rock.I wen't to pull myself back up and I lost my grip and slid down the hit the ground on my feet But I couldn't keep my balance and fell off the rock everybody said are you all right I didn't answer because their was a whole bunch of dirt in my mouth When all the dirt was out of my mouth I said yes I'm all right.

Camp Oty Okwa was amazing but the one thing that made camp the best was all the teamwork and all the helping of each other. Everything about camp was great but teamwork was THE ONE THING that I loved seeing and watching and being a part of! Teamwork showed a lot at camp. People from different places all joined as one helping each other out and showing them how them to do things that they didn`t understand and being a part of things not just letting one person out. This whole teamwork showed every day and every min. at camp. It showed at all of the 6 caves that Group 5 went to by helping them get into a cave or showing them some neat things in the caves. Teamwork showed in the Geology class when we were looking at different minerals and looking for a specific type of rock. Teamwork showed when we went to class of Forest Ecology. We went to a place called Split Rock which is a beautiful place full of huge rocks you could call them boulders they`re so big but they`re every where. People were helping other people getting across rock to rock. People were helping others by helping them down to the bottom layer of rocks. Teamwork showed when we went to lunch, dinner, or even breakfast. Hoppers were a huge thing that just screamed TEAMWORK!!! They set the table. The helped with food like bringing it to the table. One other thing that I loved with teamwork was we had this saying "if we kill it we fill it". If the hopper had just sat down from say bringing the chicken over to the table but then went back in the kitchen for something and came back and she killed the last of the food. Instead of him or her doing it one of the people that were already eating got up and went to get it. That right there was something that really stood out to me. Camp was amazing I mean amazing!!! It was something that I won`t forget! TEAMWORK showed at camp everywhere. If it was at the campfire or the skits. D0n`t get me wrong camp was very fun but teamwork made it better!

We always did each others hair (cough cough Kara and Me, cough cough ). Abigail I loved to hair with you to. You are a really good Braider to you can braid really fast you got done before I got done.

Everything we did at camp was great. But my number one favorite thing about camp. was when we were at the final fire and each trail group did a funny skit. All the skits made me laugh. My favorite skit was Mr McDonald's group. Mr McDonald was the mayor and he was trying to address that there was a witch in the town. In theirs some of the people had missing vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery. A girl said she put the vegetables in her soup and all of the farmers said it was reasonable because it was good soup. Then at the end somebody says all of the children in the town are missing. Everyone was laughing at Mr McDonald's trail group's skit.
I was ready for ours. Ours was we all had to brush are teeth but we didn't have any water. Gracieanne had some water but just enough for her. Jacob Vanover told her to give it to him and she did. He drank some and he acted like he spit in the other persons ear and they brushed their teeth and acted like they spit in the next person's ear. At the end of the line the girl had water in her mouth and she spit it out.
I had a lot of fun at camp.
