. When I really look back on camp that one big thing I remember is my fall at Split Rock. Split rock is where all these rocks are almost fitted together and there are these spaces in between them. They are really rough too. I was with one of my friends and they offered their hand tome I was reaching for their hand and my foot slipped and I fell down. I really had a near death experience because there was 2 rocks pointing out and I fell right in between them. My friend was really surprised and got really nervous and freaked out a little. So we rushed back to the leaders of the Forest Ecology Hike and she sat me down and fixed me up. Then Mrs. Hoyt and I walked all the way back to the dining hall so I could get some ice on my Bump! I will always remember my Rock Fall at Split Rock. That fall sounded worse than I thought. I hate that feeling when you fall it must have been really scary.

Camp Oty' Okwa..... I loved it when I got to sing in front of the whole 6th grade, It was a special time where the crowd just faded and it was me singing I loved all the compliments and the majority of the boys said stuff like, "Wow Jackie, I didn't know you could sing. You're really good." And my reply would always be the same I would say, "Thanks." And Then I would smile and walk away. I love to sing , I always have and I always will, That day I will never forget because I got so many compliments it just made me smile, It made my day I smile even when I think about it. One girl even said that I should audition for American Idol because I was so good. And as I think back on camp over the next few years, that is what I will remember. I think (know) that I will remember that day forever. =) I really liked how you sang in front of the whole school. You are really brace. I could not ever do that because I have stage fright. I hope you do go on to American Idol. That would be so awesome. You would do great. I hope you do that again maybe at a school assembly. That would be cool. I hope for the rest of your life you sing because it's a passion and passions are always important to live!

The Salt Creek 6 graders and I went to camp Oty Okwa . I will be talking about what my favorite thing about camp was. There was many things I enjoyed at camp, but I will talk about my favorite. My favorite thing at camp was split rock. It was really fun. Logan and I were trying to get into really tight spaces. There was just so many tunnels, cracks, and places to explore. My favorite thing about split rock is when Logan and I were exploring and were found this really tight tunnel with carvings on it. One was tally marks, one was a spider, and the coolest one looked like a skull. It just was a blast exploring split rock. Every corner you went around there was something new to see. I think in a few years when I think about camp what I will remember is split rock and all the cool tunnels and the places that only a few people and I could fit into. I will also remember all the smiling faces and every body having a good time! Blake it's a good post one thing I would change is making your paragraphs longer a few more sentences. Except for that it's great.

The thing that I really liked about camp is that everybody just changed there personality. I thought that the people I had to bunk with I would hate it but I actually really liked it everybody was nice and just having lots of fun. I never would of thought people act the way they do until now. It made it really special for me when people were just always wanting to do things for other people if they didn't know how to or just didn't understand it. People changed a lot and even now that were back at camp I still talk to some of the people I started to talk to at camp and they're still the same even tho they might be by there friends that they are use to and always are by. In a couple years for now I'm always going to look back at Camp and remember when Bailea and I were walking up a steep hill and it was really muddy our boots were sinking in the mud while we were trying to walk up the hill. So we hooked arms so we could be more helpful to each other we were fine for a couple of seconds then all the sudden we both start slipping and sliding we almost fall straight on our face. So we put are hands down and caught each other. Then we got up and started to laugh because everybody else made it up perfectly fine and was going up to camp for free time and was hanging out with there friends. But then when it came to her and I we almost fell right on our face and took like an extra five minutes to get off of the muddy hill to the grass so at least we could wipe all the mud off. That's true it changed my personality also. Almost everybody changed their personality. Its strange!

One girl even said that I should audition for American Idol because I was so good. Jackie you are a really good singer. And I think you should try out for American Idol to because I know the judges will love it. And I know you would be the next big singer going on a world tour and have a lot of amazing fans to. Keep up the good work

Split Rock!!! When we first got there we had no idea how to get down them but there was a bunch of little tiny caves that you had to go down and then when I wanted back up on top of the rocks and caves it took forever because I had no idea where I was going. I thought it was so cool just to see the humongous rocks and caves and to be able to see them with my own eyes and wonder through them was so much fun. Our group had no idea how to get down there so we just jumped. Some people got lost in the caves and I did to but in the end i had a great time

When I walked in to my lodge my friend Abby H. had a bunk saved for me and two other friends, Abby M. and Chloe. It was a creaky wooden box with a hard mattress on top. I was on the bottom and Abby M. was on the top. Abby H. was on the one right next to mine and she was on the bottom so we could talk at night. I was worried that I wouldn't get to be with them but when I saw where I'd be sleeping all of the worries washed away I studied the bed and it dawned on me at that moment that I was at camp and I was apart of it. I was so excited as to what would come but then the nerves came. Abby H. yelled my name to come and take a picture and the nerves left and all that was left was anxiousness. I was starting my 6th grade camp Oty' Okwa experience with all of my friends and the new friends I would be meeting, hopefully! It was the best feeling in the world! I ran in the lodge because I had it all planned out, and I wanted to get first dibs! So I threw my stuff on the whole group of beds just so they were saved! And I wanted to be by you because I knew Chloe and I would never fall asleep because her mouth never closes! And McDonald, is just McDonald! So I knew we would have fun, but not to much. But the boys just complained and complained how loud we were but I think they just weren't having fun like the girls were! And all the girls wanted 20 min. showers! And we of course were the last ones with no hot water! I had so much fun!

All of the sixth grade at my school went on a trip to camp Oty Okwa, including me. My favorite part about camp was split rocks. It is amazing, split rocks is a really big area full of rocks. We were allowed to go play on the rocks but we had to have a buddy in case we fell. The rocks had a lot of passage ways in them and it was AWESOME! When we were at split rocks we could climb on top of the rocks, (the rocks were GIANT I'm not kidding) or we could go under the rocks and run around, well we actually couldn't run there were rocks everywhere so you would run into one if you ran. Being on top of the rocks was kind of scary at first since the rocks were so big but after being up there for a while you got used to it, being on the ground was fun too with all the passage ways to go through. Split rocks was one of the best things at camp, it was sooo much fun. If I could go back to split rocks I would. Being at camp with all my friends and exploring split rocks with them was loads of fun, you don't see rocks like that every day. I wish I could go back. I agree that Split Rock was the best part of camp. I also think this is a really good post because it has details and it was amazing like you said. I was also scared because I had rain boots and I was afraid I would get stuck!! But I also want to go back and do that again because it was soo cool how it was built like that!! Really Good post Sydney!!

There was a lot of things about camp that I enjoyed but the thing that I really enjoyed was the campfire. It was a time where we all got to sit down have some laughs and we did skits. At first I thought that it was going to be boring and everyone is going to be immature, but they weren't and they were quiet and respectful. And then came the skits. I had a lot of fun at the camp fire to. I liked your skit Marcus it was awesome.

I liked almost everything at camp. My favorite thing at camp was the class, survival. The group I was in was Group 9. In survival we learned how to find food also water. We also learned how to make a shelter and make fire. We found a cave called the seven dwarfs. That is where we made the fire. We made a hole fire. I liked the survival class to it was one of the most fun things. That is awesome how you made a hole fire that was a good idea.

I love to act so I was totally up for it! I had to come up with everyone's fortunes. I thought 'okay I'm down with this' I was ready. So I had came up with them with the help of my friend Miss. Abby Phillips (aka little Philly). This is too funny! I remember you being so excited! I'm glad I got to help you. We came up with a lot of funny fortunes! The skits were so much fun and I'm glad I got to be a part of it. Oh, I almost forgot, I love my name! (Little Philly)

At Camp Oty' Okawa I had so much fun and I thought everything was great but if I just had to pick one out of all the things I did, I loved free time. At free time I had lots of time to talk to people and get to know more people. My friends Taryn,Abby,Megan and Emma mostly Taryn and Abby were having so much fun and Tia was always so much fun and we had a great time. At night we had even more fun Abby told me a ghost story about someone tapping on the window when you would sleep. Me and Taryn slept by the window which was great so during the story Taryn reached over behind my back and tapped the window and I screamed. I thought that I had a lot of fun during free time especially when me and Taryn and Abby where playing this game. Where me and Taryn were sisters and Carlee was are mom and then Abby said she was are grandma then she said she was are aunt and then I said your are Aunt Grandma. Well me and Taryn had serious problems and we had lessons for everything. What was really funny was when I was eating a candy that Mrs.Hardin gave us and I pretended that I ate the wrapper instead of the candy and Abby said did you remember to go to your eating lessons and then I said no. I am glad they gave us free time because we could hang out with our friends and we would have lots of fun. Some of the people that I hang out with at school I don't really get to hang out with them after school a lot and when we had free time it gave me more time to become better friends with them. I had a lot of fun at Camp Oty' Okawa and if you ever go there it is really fun. I don't know why but free time really stood out to me because it brought me and my friends closer together and we had a lot of fun. I hope maybe someday I will go back to Camp Oty Okawa and see all the cool stuff. There is one thing I can't do if I ever go back there I can't have free time with my best friends. You were so funny. I laughed so hard I started to cry. You were amazing and the candy thing was hilarious.

Also I like how we did some skits and them we did some more song them we did more skits and more songs till the big campfire was completely over. Every single day after breakfast, lunch or dinner we would sing a song. After camp I could not stop singing the songs Daisy I loved the skits. And I epically loved ours. Skits are AMAZING I love doing them just not in front of the whole 6th grade.
