The best part of Salt Creek is "THE HALLWAY"! The best part of The Hallway is it is fun. You never know what might happen next. You never know when things are going to get crazy. You always know that people are going to be in a good mood. You always know that you will be with people you like. The teachers make this a great place. Mrs. Webb is always ready to help with anything. No matter what the problem or question, she is quick to get along. Mrs. Huysman shows up every day with that big smile. It doesn't make a bit of difference what is going on, she is smiling at people. Mrs. Hardin is wacky. She is always joking around, goofing off, and ready to get on Mrs. Huysman and Mrs. Webb. And when she does, I love joining in trying to get them fired up. Mr. Roe is always somewhere close by. He is waiting with a joke and a smile. He is the youngest 70 year old I have ever seen in my life. He acts like every day is the best day of his life. He makes it better for all of us by being here. The students in the hallway are the best. Any time I pass one in the hallway, he/she always smiles and throws out a "hello" or "how's it going?" The sixth graders in the hallway work hard, but they don't complain about it. They come in, do their best, and do it with a smile. It's so amazing how helpful the students are. Any time a classmate needs help, someone is ready to lend a hand. I don't think you could find better students anywhere in the world. But the absolute best thing about The Hallway is the noise. One minute it will be quiet with hardly a sound. Then, BOOM! Teachers will be screaming and students will be laughing. Smiles will be shining everywhere. That's when I know that The Hallway is fun and The Hallway is just where I want to be!  The best part of the "HALLWAY" is........ When Mr.McGuire and Mrs.Hardin always fight in the hallway. They always scream at each other in the hallway. We would be doing classwork and test next thing you know you hear those two doing there own thing. I like how all my teachers are so nice (and funny). I have known Ms.Huysman ever since my sister was in 2nd grade (Ms.Huysman always picked on me and my sister). Ms.Huysman is SUPER FUNNY and one of the nicest teachers. I like how Mr.McGuire and Mrs.Hardin always give Ms.Huysman a hard time cause she is always the last one to switch. I like how Mrs.Hardin and Ms.Huysman have battles about who is better Michigan or Ohio State. Its funny when Mr.McGuire always talk about all of the teachers saying he is better and they are doing nothing but coloring and goofing off. Especially when we are singing he will mention them in the song. I love the hallway  . |

I like the hallway because it's always fun and rowdy. The teachers are amazing. Fun loving and creative is the three main words for this hallway. I love the hallway because if I have trouble with something and I don't understand it the teachers just don't leave me hanging they actually help me understand! You can have fun and still learn that's what we do down here in the hallway. I could never ask for any better teachers than the ones I have right now. I love this hallway it's AMAZING! In our hallway it's like we was all meant to be down in the hall. We all fit together like puzzle pieces. We all make mistakes and we also learn from them. That's what makes our hallway the best. Keep Calm And Live Life! |

The best part about our hallway at Salt Creek is that everyone is unique or different in their own way. All the students and teachers have their own way of expressing themselves. With about 90 students and 4 teachers in our hallway our school day becomes very interesting.
When everyone shows off their uniqueness it makes our hallway fun and special. The teachers show off their uniqueness by arguing and giving each other hard times. Mrs. Hardin and Ms. Huysman always argue about football because Mrs. Hardin likes Ohio State and Ms. Huysman likes Michigan. Mr. McGuire likes to join in and he really gets them fired up. Mrs. Webb expresses herself by just being quiet and doing what she is told, even though sometimes she will join in on the arguments. When the teachers argue it makes the students laugh and have a fun time.
Each student shows off his/hers uniqueness by the way they act and show their characteristics to one another. For example a student said "I have five generations in my family whom went to Salt Creek including me." Another example is that someone else said "I was named after three people in my family." A third example is that a student said "My eyes change colors." These examples are what the students say make them unique which makes our hallway special.
I think its the students and the teachers that makes our hallway unique, not just the hallway itself. Everyday there's always smiles and laughter throughout the hallway. So for me the best part of our hallway is the uniqueness of the teachers and students.

The best thing about our hallway is the classrooms. I think they are the best parts of the hallway because they are always filled with laughs and smiles and our awesome teachers! The teachers our the ones that makes the classrooms the best part of the hallway because they are always filled with funny jokes and cool stories. In Mrs. Hardin's class she makes math class fun because of her crazy self! She always puts a smile on my face every morning because she always greets us when were getting off the bus and going into the class or when we are a car rider she does the same thing. She also makes doing math problems fun because she is teaching us how to do new things and how to remember how to do them. In Mr. McGuire's class he makes it fun because of all his new things he teaches us like how to be a computer wiz and how to use correct punctuation and spelling. Also because he always tells us some stories about his home room class and how to be successful and not get bad grades in his class for things like not capitalizing I and spelling words incorrectly when you have spell-check. He is an awesome teacher! In Mrs. Webb's class she makes social studies class fun because she teaches us how to find the latitude and longitude of places. She also teaches us about different places around the world. Also she tells us some things about her life when she was a kid and places where she has visited and where she grew up at. I like hearing about different places because it makes me want to go there when I get older. In Mrs. Huysman's she makes science fun because of all the experiments we do in her class. Also all of the cool things that she lets us do like if we are doing a presentation in class she let us where doctor jackets and a stethoscope and some awesome green glasses. She also has an awesome personality she is very outgoing and easy to get along with. She is one super cool teacher. Those are the reasons why I think that the classrooms are the best part of the hallway! |

One thing that I love about our hallway is the teachers!!!!!!!!! We have a great variety of teachers!! Mrs. Webb is always there when you need and is always very nice. Mr. McGuire is always making funny comments about the students and the teachers and is always there when you need him!!! Mrs. Huysman is always in a good mood and always has a smile on her face no matter what the occasion is!!! Mrs. Hardin is always making funny comments about people and is always happy!!!! I love when the teachers start yelling at each other especially Mr.McGuire and Mrs. Hardin because everybody just starts laughing!!!!
Another thing I love about our hallway is I have so many more friends from my old school in my class!!!!!!! Another thing I love about our hallway is you never know what will happen next. There is always a change of events!!! One moment there is complete silence the next moment there is four teachers yelling at each other and all of the students laughing!!!!!!
Another thing I love about our hallway is the students!!! I love how the students are always so nice and they are always there for you when you need it the most!!!! I also love how the students are so funny!!! The students are always making jokes about each other and it is just really funny to watch.
Another thing I love about our hallway is we are always having fun!!! No matter what the situation is the teachers and/or students are always happy and making the world around you brighter!!!!!
That's why I love our hallway!!!!!!!!

The hallway gives all the rooms just this connection. You can just walk down the hallway into another room It doesn't even take any effort. You can squeak your shoes down the shinny golden floors in the hallway . The hallway Is like the highway and were like the cars. It helps us travel down the road to other places(classrooms). When everybody walks into the school the first thing they see is the hallway. It helps Mr. McGuire strut down to Mrs Hardin's classroom and call her the general. Without the hallway the school would fall down. You can see what all the teachers have put outside there classroom and see what there working on. Sometime they have some cool stuff put out there for everybody to see, And sometimes you might even be on the wall in the hallway. But the absolute best thing that's in the hallway is the noise. You can hear different noises from all different classrooms and walk down the hallway and one teacher yelling at another to quite down. I think it's pretty funny. When your in your classroom you can hear people walking down the hallway going to lunch or recess laughing . You can hear the band playing in the morning. You can hear just all different kind of interesting noises in the hallway. The hallway is the place to be!

The best thing about our hallway is the awesome teachers. They come here everyday to teach us something new. They smile at us every morning that make me so very happy! They are the best thing in this hallway! They sometime the teachers yell across the hallway and it makes all the students laugh. One teacher is Mrs.Hardin she is funny her and Mr.McGuire yell at each other. It's so funny that sometimes I can't stop laughing! Another teacher is Mrs.Huysman she is so funny too. She and all the girl teachers stick together and yell at Mr.McGuire. Mrs. Huysman and Mrs. Hardin tell there students to say go Ohio (Hardin) or Michigan (Huysman). Next teacher is Mrs. Webb she is quiet sometimes but Mr. McGuire starts yelling then the funny Mrs. Webb comes out they are funny together. Last but not least Mr. McGuire he is the only male teacher in this hallway sometimes I thinks he yells to hear himself. He yells at all the teachers and that's when everyone in the hallway gets loud. The teachers take time to make us the best we can. The one thing that completes the hallway is the students! The come in not liking school and leaving loving school because the teachers make leaning so much fun for us. We love seeing the teachers smiling that us every morning making sure the students know that today is going to be so much fun. Hearing them all yell across the hallway is so funny like I said before sometimes I can't stop laughing! That's when I know it's going to be a great school year! |

One of the thing's that's cool about the hallway is it's easy to make new friends. I like all of the teachers because they are nice and very loud. Mrs. Hardin has the loudest mouth out of all of the teachers.
I could probably make friends with all of the students in the hallway. Seth P. and Luke B. are my two best friends in the hall way. I also like the hallway because I get good grades and it is easy to have fun.
The best thing about the hall is this we are aloud to talk to our friends more than last year because the teachers would always tell to be quiet.

I think the teachers are the best thing about the hallway like Mr.McGuire. Ya I think that's it and the students. I also think that the best thing about the hallway is when Mr.McGuire argues with the teachers and he wins like always. |

I love the hall way because you get a little bit of relief that your one step closer to the end of the day. Some time you see your friends up stairs and they will smile and you'll smile back. I love the hall way because that is the place you travel to any parts of the school building.
I love the hall when your fellow students race to get in there class first. I love when a teacher gives you a hi or smile. It makes you feel good like you know you will accomplish some thing. Some time I'm sad to leave school at the end of the day.

What I think makes the hallways special is the secret passage! But you will have to read the whole post to find the secret passage. But I will talk about the teachers and the students.
Now I will talk about how loud the hallways will get. First if you get dropped off and if you want your ears to pop. Watch the students get off the bus! First its quite then papers are flying people are screaming. It was the funnest thing to when I was at Salt Creek.
Then int he middle of the day the teachers will yell at each other for no apparent reason. That is also the funnest thing in sixth grade. I hope 7th grade is as fun as 6th grade.
Now what you all have been waiting for the secret passage. Now if you go to my school you properly know what the secret passage is. The secret passage is the cat walk that comes down where we load the buses you know the side door.
So ya know you know what the secret passage is. So hope you enjoyed the story of the secret passage. Stay tuned for my next post.

The reason I like the hallway is because we get to listen to the teachers fight. It is so funny the teachers like to make us laugh of what they are saying. I think they like attention from when they fight. I also like the hallway cause you get to see your friends. And maybe people you haven't seen or you haven't talked to. I like to meet new people that I haven't even seen this year. And I think that the hallway is the best place to meet new people. Well I hope you like my post!!!

The best thing about our hallway is the teachers.There is Mrs. Webb which is really really nice. Then there's Ms.Huysman Which is always smiling. Seriously I don't get how she can smile so much. Then there's Mr.McGuire and He makes jokes all the time.Then last but defiantly not least Mrs.Hardin she's great super duper nice and will always help u out. So yeah the best thing about the hallway is probably the teachers they are all good teachers im glad I go to school here. Oh yeah almost forgot about Mrs.Huysman and Mrs.Hardin fighting about football all the time. That's pretty funny.  |
