The students in the hallway are the best. Any time I pass one in the hallway, he/she always smiles and throws out a "hello" or "how's it going?" The sixth graders in the hallway work hard, but they don't complain about it. They come in, do their best, and do it with a smile. It's so amazing how helpful the students are. Any time a classmate needs help, someone is ready to lend a hand. I don't think you could find better students anywhere in the world.But the absolute best thing about The Hallway is the noise. One minute it will be quiet with hardly a sound. Then, BOOM! Teachers will be screaming and students will be laughing. Smiles will be shining everywhere. That's when I know that The Hallway is fun and The Hallway is just where I want to be!  The best part of Salt Creek is THE HALLWAY, It is really fun to walk into the building and see all your friends for the upstairs classes and friends in the row of sixths gra de and all the little fifth graders trying to find their classrooms. It always makes m y day when you get a hello or a hey from your teachers because I feel that I`m not invisible to them. All the teachers are having fun and talking [more like screaming at each other]. One thing that I like when I walk through the hallway you see people helping others like if the drop their food from breakfast, but what I mean here is that you get to see people`s true colors or what their like when their not playing or goofing off with their friends. All I`m trying to say is that you really get to see who people really are. If its your first time coming to Salt Creek than all I have to say is take time and look to see what the HALLWAY really is cause it might just surprise you!

What I like about the Hallway is that it is fun. And another thing is that I like when the teachers yell at each other for fun. And another thing is that I liked when Mrs.Harden hit this kid with a door. More things about the Hallway is when the teachers are nice.
I like when we play around about stuff like anything at all. I like when people hi five me in the Hallway. I like when kids say hi to me and other kids. More things about the Hallway are when the teachers start laughing at each other.

The best thing about the hallway is the teachers they always makes it awesome.
The teachers always Gets us laughing. They always joke around with
other teachers or with students. The hallway is the best!

Well I love the hall you get to see people up stairs you always see smiling faces.One thing you always see the nicest teachers that are always kind upbeat teachers. I think their very nice I love it when they play fight in the hall. First day I came to sixth grade I found out they really love football. Did not take long trust me and people in the hall is even more fun then the whole day Mr.McGuire is the one who starts the fights giggle-giggle.   The hall gives you time to make sure you have all your books for the next class.Even tho you should already just in case gives you a breather after a really hard test in the last class. |

I agree it is always fun when two teachers are yelling because they do it to joke around with us and try to put a smile on our face's which they do at least for me they do. Another reason why the hallway is fun is because you get to see everybody like your friends and other people you know. Im pretty sure everybody loves the hallway at our school if you don't well I don"t know then but the hallway is really it is the second most funnest thing in school. The Best part of the Hallway is The teachers Mrs. Hardin , Mr.Mcguire , Ms.Huysman and Mrs.Webb yelling at each other but not in a mean way. In a funny way everyone is laughing well the kids and the teachers but I think they all need it sometime. I love it when Mr. Mcguire comes.
And that is why I like the hallway but you can see your friends too.I love the teachers because they are nice.

The best part of the "HALLWAY" is the students because you never know whats going to happen. We walk through the hallways all the time. If we didn't have the hallway, we would get wet when it rains and freeze in the winter. And I don't want to mention what would happen in a tornado. The hallway protects us from all sorts of things. It's always there for us.
There is always something good going on in the hallway. The teachers are always happy. And there's always the voices of the teachers booming across the hall at each other. The hallways always there for us. I hope you have the same feeling as I do.

I think that the best part of Salt Creek is defiantly the hallway. I love the hallway at Salt Creek, It is SO COOL! I love the hallway because it is so loud. One minute it is super quiet, then its loud! Its especially loud when class is over and Mr. McGuire make sure the teachers know that! He comes into the hallway and starts yelling "Class is over, come on guys". It is so funny.
One time in the morning I was going out to hang up my book bag, and there was a cricket! It was a big one, almost three quarters of my thumb! It kept jumping around and it was funny.
Probably the best thing about the hallway happened this Tuesday. My friend Megan from my old school moved here to Salt Creek. I heard her voice, and she said her name, them I saw her! We both screamed when we saw each other, we were both so happy.
The hallway is such a fun place to be! I love it so much!

The best thing about our hallway is the Teachers! You never know when they're gonna start goofing around, and the student are the ones that need to learn to not mess around during class. The teachers (Especially Mr. McGuire!) can get really loud. Everyday they are shouting down the halls. While the teachers are yelling the students are for sure laughing.
If the teachers aren't teaching they are either running or yelling down the hallway. For example, on the first day of school Mr. McGuire was late to switch 3rd period. So he was right on time 4th period, none of the other teachers were, so he yelled and walked up and down the hallway "COME ON TIME TO SWITCH" or, "COME ON LADIES LET'S GO!" My whole homeroom was laughing their heads off the whole time until we finally went back to homeroom.
I LOVE our hallway!

It's funny when the teacher yell about something but they don't mean it and when they yell everyone laughs because it is when Mrs. Huysman and Mrs. Harden always fight about Michigan and Ohio State its so funny!

I was reading the responses and they are great. I was surprised though that no one mentioned all the technology. Another thing that I think is great is how so much learning takes place using computers. Not many schools have a computer for each student in language arts. The student blogs are awesome and the writing keeps getting better and better.
In social studies having 30 Chromebooks (laptops) is exciting. The slide show that sixth graders just completed are unbelievable.

I like the hallway because right when you walk in the door all of the teachers will all be right there. The teachers will be waiting for you to walk in and they will say hi. The hallway is awesome because there is stuff in the hallway like the showcase and study island of the day.
When you walk in the door it will be quite then when then when the kids come in the door it gets loud! If your in the hallway and you need help someone will always be there to help you. I like it another way because when we go to switch classes sometimes the teachers will pop out of the classroom and yell at each other it's really funny. This sentence does not make sense.
The hallway is even better because be responsible ready and respectful. It also sometimes has papers hung-up from kids. So I hope you come to Salt Creek to see the awesome hallway!

The best part about the Hallway is when all of us students come out of the class rooms the teachers start right away. You can tell that everyone is in a good mood and ready for the school day to start. I say the best thing is the attitude in everybody's voice. One minute there will be complete silence then the next thing that happens is Boom all the teachers are yelling at each other. Every morning when you walk through the doors you see everyone's smiling faces and then you know that today is going to be such a great day!
I think that the teachers are the loudest things in the entire school. They always say the funniest things you could think of and they always make you laugh and say to yourself "oh wow are the teachers really doing this for the heck of it?"

What's the best thing about our hallway? The best thing about our hallway is the teachers. There is lots too love about our hallway, the people, the teachers, and lots of other things. The teachers are always yelling at each other which I think is really funny. You never really know what is going too happen in our hallway. Like Mr.Mcguire said, it will be quiet one second and then the next second there is yelling and shouting everwhere. The kids in our hallway are always smiling and happy, when they are most of the time. Our hallway is so much fun with the teachers and the students. That is the best thing our hallway.  |
