The Book Winnie The Horse Gentler written by Dandi Daley Mackall is about a 12 year old girl. The things that we both have in common are we both live in Ohio, we both have a horse, and we both love animals. I really think I can relate to her. She goes through the same situations as me sometimes. I have read 3 books out of all 8 in a series. And I think the more I read, the more I relate to her. She is sweet and nice. I really like her. I hope if you read the books, then you can relate to her too. I hope you get the chance to read all of the books

One of my favorite books is Tucket's Gold by Gary Paulsen. The main character in this book is Francis Tucket. He was kidnapped by Indians and escaped and headed for Organ to try to catch up with his family and there wagon train. I can relate to Francis in a kind of wired way, but funny way as well. Ok so I got a book from the library Tucket"s Gold. Then I went home. Then I went to go ride my four wheeler. When I was riding I came upon a buried treasure. There were two wheels half way sticking out of the ground. I went up to the house I got a shovel to dig it up. I started to dig in the middle of them and I found out that they were wagon wheels Francis on the other hand fond some thing alot more valuable. He fond Gold when he was trying to find a good camp. He saw a cave like hole in the dirt, and he started to dig more. Then he fond his buried treasure What's your buried treasure? I read for a lot of reasons. I read because if i'm doing homework and I don't read the problem I'll miss it or just completely not do the problem. I'f I don't do the problem or I miss it then I have a chance of getting a bad grade. That is the most important reason I read. Another reason I read is because I like to hear different stories about different stuff. I find reading really enjoyable. Reading to me is the key to life because if you can't read then how are you going to drive when you grow up? You're not going to be able to read the stop sign or the signs that say "Ohio 20 miles west." I'f i'm bored then I go up into my tree and pull out a juicy book to read. I also read for the fun of it. Reading is fun, all I have to do is find the perfect book and sit down and enjoy. That is why I read. Read more: thereadingworkshop.boards.net/thread/6/why-read?page=6#ixzz2iYgfTnRJ

I read because it is fun, it's exciting, and entertaining. I read every chance I get! I have piles of books at home! There are so many books some we had to put some under the bookshelf! That's how much I love books! I have to put just one of the books I read on the reading log!Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney is my favorite book. The main character is middle school student Greg Heffley who is in a world where girls are cruel, bullies rule, and his classmates drool! Oh and by the way, don't touch the cheese!
I have a lot in common with Greg because, 1. I'm not very strong, 2. I'm pushed around by my brother, and 3. I'm annoyed by a particular person. Oh I almost forgot, Greg needs contacts or glasses. I wear glasses too!

In my book Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets by J.K Rowling the main characters name is Harry Potter. Harry is like me because he can be nervous and I get nervous a lot. Harry can also be aggravated and scared. He is a lot like me because I can get all those feelings and I can relate to him as I read my book. One example of me being nervous is before a cheerleading game. I get nervous because there is a big crowd watching me and I could mess up and forget the cheers. I also do a back bend kick over in one of our cheers and I get nervous to do that because I could fall and it's embarrassing to fall because them I hurt myself and sometimes cry. Harry gets nervous before his quid itch games. That is a sport like soccer but there are lots of different balls and positions and they are in the air on a broom stick. Harry can can get the feelings I get and he also goes to school and gets scared for the tests but like both of us we always get through our difficult situations and figure everything out! One of the main reasons I love my book so much is because the whole time I'm reading I can relate to the main character Harry. It also helps me understand the book more! Good post. I think that Harry Potter has never been that interesting to me.

The main character in the book Fighting Tacle is alot lot me.We both love football. He thinks playing football is fun and hard work.I also think its alot of fun.It can be alot of work to because you practice alot. You have to practice alot to be good.
We are also alike because we have big families. He had 3 kids and his mom and dad.We have 4 kids and a mom and dad.He loves his family just like I love my family. We all like to sit and watch sports togather. His family also like to set and watch football.
His family is a very loving family. My family is to like if people need help we would help. His family would help somebody too if they needed help.He would go outside and pass football with his dad.My dad goes outside and passes football with me and all my brothers. We are alike in many ways and I think its neat to have so much in common with this character.

The book I am reading is the third book in the Maze Runner series The Death Cure. The main character in my book is called Thomas. Thomas is helpful and adventures. Like in the first book Thomas steps into the maze just to save his two friends when the doors are going to close and going to lock in the maze till dawn when the doors open again. A little bit about Thomas is that he always asks questions and sometimes people don't even no the answer.
I did not think I had much in co man with Thomas until now that I thought about it but to get on track. I can relate to that because I was begin helpful when I helped my friend who sits beside me in language arts class. I don't ask that many questions but I do ask a little bit of questions.
Hey Sara. I can see how you are like the main character. Because you are helpful , I can tell you that from personal experiences. And you defiantly adventuress. (You dad was covered). Your dad didn't see it coming. And especially when we ran it the tree almost. Ups! Or the time we got the mud all or the golf cart.

I am reading Report to the Principal's Office by Jerry Spinelli and the main character is Sunny Wyler. Sunny has to move to a different school than her best friend for the first time ever and she tries to do everything possible to get back to her best friend. Sunny is like me because she is outgoing and if she wants something she will try so much to get it. But Sunny also gets nervous in all of her new classes and I am like that to sometimes. But most of all Sunny loves her friends so much and I am just like that!! Yes, Abigail, Everyone knows your totally outgoing (except for Mr. McGuire who thinks your more quiet than a mouse in a corn field!). And we know you love your friends very much. And if you see sometime you want you would ask and ask and ask and ask and ask until you finally got it! And I think everyone would know that!

The main character J.D. in the book(s) Chasing Yesterday is like me, because once J.D. wants to do something she never gives up. Another way she is like me is that if I as in the situation she was in, I would do everything she did basically. She saved all those girls lives and risked her own. She barely knew 99% of them, but she still saved their lives. Another way she is like me is one event in the book was her so called "Mother" told her to stay inside. J.D. couldn't resist but go outside. Another thing is J.D. is smart. I mean I know I am smart but I mean, J.D. is almost always one step ahead, she's always is suspecting something to happen. Another reason, and the last, is J.D. and I both stick up for friends, even people we don't know. That's how J.D. and I are alike. Abby I am reading Chasing Yesterday too. And I think it is sad she does not know anything about her past . Keep up the good work girl

I read this book called English Roses,it's one of my favorite books. The main character in this book is Nicole she live in London. She has a group of friends called the English Roses. They are all in the sixth grade and are 11 years old they have a new talent show and they are getting ready for it. Well Nicole went on vacation and met a new friend and that friend's dad is a movie dictator. That new friend's dad is coming to Nicole's hometown to do a movie. Another example from the book is that the group of girls have been trying to get along with the new friend. They have no time to rehearse the number for the talent show. This is an exciting book. If you love dramas you will love this book. Will Nicole pick her group or the new friend? You will never know if you don't read! This is a great post!! Now I want to read this book!!!! I`ve been looking at your posts and they look great!! Keep up the good work Kyleigh!!!

We are also alike because she can think her way out of problems and so can I. Another reason we are alike is she is a little creative like me. We are both creative because in one of the books in the series she cut her hair and made herself look like a eight year old boy. I am creative because I like doing art and drawing and making things. We can both think our way out of problems because in one of the books of the series her brother woke her up when she was asleep because he saw police out of the hotel window and they had no way out so Meg said lets go out the window and so Meg and Aiden crawled out of the window and escaped from the hotel. I can think my way out of problems because when I go to my friends house we have nothing to do so I come up with some ideas of things we can do. Also because when I mess up doing a cartwheel or something I do it again and try to fix what I did wrong. I can think my way out of problems too! And I can also be very creative but you might know that by now. I'm the same when I go to a friends house. I think of the most craziest ideas to do but there really fun! I love making things to it is so fun just to see what I can find then put it all together to she what happens. I think that book sounds pretty good. I love to have action in my books I think it spices things up and that makes the book even better! It sounds like the book has a lot of action in it! I might have to read that book next. Great post Marissa! Keep it up!

In The Perks Of Being A Wallflower I am like Charlie we are both quite ,shy , loners who love to read and write! We are mater for our age Charlie is 16 and I am 13 so not much of an age difference. But when we are with people we can shut down and that means we don talk that much or we can have fun!
Anyway we have a lot in common like we do not like to mingle, talk or get near that many people and we cower and walk away.
Me and Charlie also do not have the greatest life and for me the thing is when I read this book I understand what Charlie is going through. I know Charlie, I can feel his pain and happiness.
And what else... Oh! We have friends but we push them away we like to be alone a lot. And do not like to be disturbed.
Jackie good post I love the book the perks of being a wallflower . Keep up the good post girl!
