How is the New Year Going?

So far this year has been going great. All of the stuff we've been doing is awesome. I've had lots of fun making my blog and singing songs in our language arts class. Doing lots of group work in social studies and lots of other fun stuff.



In science what I like most is doing the experiments and Mrs.Huysman's turtles. In math class I don't like it a lot because of all the Ohio state stuff but math is is still fun. I've also made lots of new friends. That is why my year has been going awesome.

This year has been the worst year because I have to sit by boys and sometimes boys can be annoying . I also think this is the worst year because it is kind of weird not seeing most of friends. I have made some new friends and they are pretty cool.This year really stinks but sometimes there is a day that is a very good day and you don't get all mad and you get to hang out with your friends and that day is pretty much everyday. That is why this year really stinks .

This year really, really stinks because we have to carry all these books around for school in these tubs that could barely fit a high school textbook. We have these planners that remind us to do our homework, which is really cool but i always forget my homework . This school can also be really cool because when you get a brave buck you can win prizes . A brave buck is a piece of paper that says something that you did to be helpful, and kind to someone who dropped or spilled something in classroom. This year is going good and sometimes it is going bad in someways. Sometimes I get lost and I feel like a loser because I have been her for 2 years. That is how this year is going for me.

My old school at Vinton county was ok. I had a lot of friends the teachers were ok. I hated the classes in Vinton county but Salt Creek school seems better. Only thing I hate about this school is that I don't know anyone. I only live 2 mins down the road from this school. It's not a big school so I won't get lost. Logan Elm is better than Vinton county because they have a better football team. Logan elm schools are better because you get to work on computers you couldn't do that in Vinton.

Logan Elm wins almost every football game.

My year so far is going great. All my teachers are amazing. My teachers have taught me many things that I never knew in 5th grade.

Science is my favorite subject this year.I like science because ever since I was little I have collected rocks and wanted be a geologist and learn about fossils and rocks that I never knew about.

The only thing that I don't like about 6th grade is we have recess before lunch,but the playground equipment is not really that fun. The game I like to play at recess is 4 square.My favorite thing about playing 4 square is that I get to see some of my friends that aren't in my class.

I have three friends: Harlie,Tabitha,and Brooklyn. They are my best friends, and they are like my sisters,and we never have had a fight with each other,and we have gotten along very well together. We always sit together at lunch every single day,and we always play together at recess.

Another thing I don't like about 6th grade is pretty much all of my friends are upstairs. My favorite thing about 6th grade is that when you are involved in something like band,or running the school store,you might me meet some new people you never knew before you started.

                                                                                                                                                                               I like this year so far,we did a lot of cool stuff in Science.We sang cool songs in Language arts. I like math because we did stuff on computers. social studies is fun because we got to learn about the world.                                                                                                                                                                                                                         My favorite class is science because we did cool experiments like how many drops of water could fit on a penny. I think 6th grade is going to be fun. I have some of my friends in the hallway. This year was not how I expected, it is more fun.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             I think 6th grade is going to be fun. I like the blogs in language arts, we get to be on computers all day. science is fun because I"m right next to the turtles. I cant wait for the camp we get to spend the night at. I think this year is going to be fun.                                 

This has been a great 6th grade at Salt Creek! Its just that I lost two of my best friends cause they are upstairs this year. But that's starting to go behind me because I am starting to make new friends and making more friends is better than losing two friends. And I have awesome teachers they are so nice! Last year my teachers was nice to but they were kinda strict. This year my teachers are not as strict as any other teachers that I have had, my teacher's are the way all teachers should be.

This year is nothing like I expected, I thought it was just going to be a normal school year but it is a lot more than that, it is the best year ever so far. I wish that every year was like this, then I would want to come to school everyday! This year you can just have fun and you can be your self. I love all my teachers they teach better then any other teacher that I had. I mean yes all teachers teach good but this year i can understand them more. I hope next year I have teachers as good as I do this year.

This year is a lot different than last year because in science we are going to do a lot of experiments, last year we did not do a lot of experiments. In math we are doing this thing where you can predict what you think the score will be for the Ohio State and the team that they are going to play and who ever predicts the best guess then they got a candy bar. In social studies we have jobs and if we don't do them at all or if we don't do them good then we get fired, then we have to get a new job. In my language arts class we only use computers and I think thats pretty cool cause to me that makes me concentrate more and I love when Mr. Mcguire plays music at the end of class when we have extra time and if you sing along it will bump up your grade. I think this really cool and fun because i love singing

I have enjoyed everything so far! I just don't know how to explain it! I love my home room teacher Mrs. Huysman, she is so nice and well everything that u can think of thats nice. Shes my science teacher and she is perfect at being a science teacher but so was my last year teacher, so i think that there both amazing it just that Mrs. Huysman needs to get a better taste in football teams because she likes michigan and michigan sucks! I have also enjoyed my language arts class because we have blogs (the one i'm on know) and we can tell like what field trips we went on, what book we think is the best, and stuff like that, like I said in my last paragraph I love when Mr. Mcguire plays the music at the end of class, its my favorite part out of everything this year so far!

I thought that this year would be a lot harder. So far it's been pretty easy. This year I feel like it will be one of the funnest years. Although it will be the hardest so far I think Ill do pretty good this year.

The reason I think it would be a lot harder. This is because the teachers have different ways of teaching. Another reason is because they have to teach harder things. This means that the pace will have to go faster. I'm hoping that we won't go through a lesson a week though .

The reason I feel like this year will be the funnest so far is because we get a blog. Another reason is because in science we get to observe six turtles and a tree frog. In science we also get to do experiments. Those experiments aren't just vinegar and baking soda. This year we also get a longer recces.

This year I feel will be the hardest year yet though. Especially since the pace will be faster. The teachers are also a lot more strict. But even with all of this happening I thing it will just speed by.
