Welcome to the 2014/2015 school year and to the sixth grade. For me, this has been an amazing start to the year. Students have been working hard and cooperating. They are interested in their blogs and engaged in class. Singing has been especially fun with great participation. The hallway is a great place to be and I have enjoyed every minute of the new school year.

My year is going really good so far! Because i get to sing everyday in class and because there's alot of athletic people witch makes the game we play at recess alot funner. I also like this year because we get to use computers alot, and because there's alot of this we do on the computers.I most enjoy since class because there's lots of plants and animals.
What i don't like about this year is that all my best friends are upstairs. Some other things i don't like about this year is the playground equipment is more of little kid stuff, and the cafeteria food is still pretty bad.
I like all my teachers mostly science because she has a really cool room! i also like the math room because it has alot of math decorations.I mostly like the math books there alot better than coach book's.

So far the year has been going great. I've made new friends and I've been getting along with everyone. Science is really fun. We've got to do fun activities like seeing how many drops of water we can fit on a penny. Even though my friends and I got split up in different classes we still see each other. Recess has been really fun. We play sharks and fish with a whole bunch of kids. Mrs.Hardin is an awesome teacher. She doesn't make math confusing and she makes sure everybody gets what were learning.
I'm thankful for the teachers that i have today. I've had the worst teachers in the past. They didn't explain things enough for me to understand. I wasn't ready for 3rd grade because they didn't teach me enough. I'm just so thankful that I moved to the Logan Elm District. These schools have the best teachers I've ever met. Logan Elm teachers care about the students and i'm glad they do. I think this is gonna be a great year!

I think so far this year is going great. I have made new friends. But I like having one of my best friends in my class but she is not this year.It is Taylor.She is in your class this year. And I really wanted to be in your class. Well okay I don't know if anyone has told you this but I think you are a very funny and cool teacher.Mrs.Harden well I am really glad i am in her class because there are really nice people in my class and one of my other best friends Tyler Hines is in my class and I like hanging out with him and riding the same bus as him. But why I am glad I am in Mrs.Hardens is because I have had lots of hard times in math. P.S I love singing in your class. I do love the songs you play. One of my favorites that you have played is Play It Again.
And this year for 6Th grade I think this is the best class yet. And I hope you and all the other teacher's know you mean a lot to me and you are a gift to my heart. For you teacher's to come to school and teach me and all these other awesome kids. So just let me tell you about my self. I am 11 years old. I dance. Ballet,Tap,Jazz,and Lyrical.And i also do a little gymnastics. I have a mom her name is Tracy Skaggs. And I did have a dad but he died when i was only 4 years old. P.S I was adopted

This year is going AWESOME! All of my teachers are NOT what I expected, and trust me, that is a good thing. I was expecting sixth grade to be terrible but its really cool, in science we get to use microscopes and in language arts we get to make our very own BLOGS! Plus, the people in my class are really nice and treat other people respectfully..... even my best friend got to be in my class. This is the best year EVER! I have a really good feeling that this year I will learn A LOT!
In language arts we have a reading log that we log our time that we started reading and finished reading. We have to do it every night and I think that's good because I'm reading a book (The Chronicles of Narnia) with exactly 766 pages in it. I really want to finish it because I'm almost done. But some days I just don't read for some reason.... but with the reading log I HAVE to read but that will help me accomplish my goal.
This year has new and cool stuff and ways of doing things that make me sure I will do well this school year. But this year I want to change it up. I want to do something extraordinary. It will be so extraordinary that I will remember it for years and years…… I want to make my teachers, my friends, my family proud. And I think this year it will happen.

This year is great so far because we get to be on computers all the time and we get to sing in language arts. Therefore in science we get to see the turtles and a frog and it`s the best class in the hall. Also, I can see all of my friends this year like Breanne, Destiny, Amelia, Elysia. Also, another subject is social studies we do all kinds of projects like putting maps together and a lot of cutting. But recess is the best part is recess we can play cat and mouse, kickball, four square or you can jump rope. Then after recess comes lunch. The lunch is good but not great. Even though I barely know my classmates that well it`s been a good year.
Therefore i thought this year was going to be horrible like if people would pick on me because I have to check my sugar every day or I have to keep explaining to them I got diabetes . After all I also thought that people would think that I am to short to be a sixth grader. Also, I hate this year because most of my friends are up stairs and I`m down stairs.
This year is so different than last year because last year was so much easier and we only had to switch three times out of the whole day.

My new year is going good, two of my best friends are in my homeroom class. I also sit beside them in two of my other classes. I like my homeroom a lot because it's very fun. We sing country songs. We have our own blog and I just like computers! My year is also going good because I'm at the same school with my friends and with some teachers I know from last year!
I also like the teachers. They are awesome. They don't yell at you and they tell you it how it is! Ms. Cook is awesome too. She makes funny jokes sometimes! I like Mr.McGuire's homeroom because we get to work on computers, which I like but I'm not what you would call a computer wise. Math is fun but we don't do a lot of stuff in there other than finding greatest common factors, adding, multiplying and stuff like that. Science is fun we do labs but we have to do some math in science class but other that that it is fun! Social studies is fun but I don't get in to things about the map, what I do like is when we talk about wars! I like that we have jobs and how we got to pick our jobs in social studies. I like brave period a lot because I read during brave period and I love to read.

This school year so far has been great. It was nervous going into the highest grade in the school but it is nice. We have math, which I really like, because i like it when we do Greatest Common Factors. I also like Language Arts because i LOVE reading and we sing sometimes. We also have science, where we do experiments such as How Many Drops Can Fit On A Penny. Then finally we have Social Studies, where we find out maps and history.
I like all of my teachers and I have Cole R. , Jacob J. , Connor R. , and Travis L in my class. It is really fun when m best friends are in my homeroom. We usually hang out a lot! Like at lunch, at recess, and we sit close to each other in our classes.
My favorite subject is math and language arts because math is really fun for me and it is nice to do Greatest Common Factors. I Like Language arts really well because I LOVE to read and we sing songs like Sweet Caroline - my favorite. I think this school year will go very well.

My year is going great so far , first I must say I was a little scared to come to six grade. The reason why is because I only saw two of my friends names on the list , and I said to myself "What if I don't make any other friends." But I did , I made so many new friends so far this year.
Also there are some of my other friends down stairs too, mostly friends that were in Mrs. Bethel's class. I also like my teachers and my classes, I have the same classes as last year but different teachers. My teachers this year are Mr. McGuire , Mrs. Webb , Mrs. Huysmen , and Mrs. Hardin , there all super funny and awesome. Mrs. Huysmen keeps three turtles in a pond , and three other turtles in a tank.
As I said this year is going great. I get to see my old friends from last year , and I made some new friends. I have the same four classes , and all of my teachers are awesome and really funny. So that's hows my year is going so far , how you enjoyed reading.

This year is going great so far. The teacher's are so nice. They know what to expect out of us so it is not new for them. They are so cool and funny. The teacher's are going to make this year so fun and full of surprises.
The classroom's have less coloring and less pictures on the wall. I think that is a good thing so I am more focused. The classroom's have more space to walk around. We have more desk space.
This year we get more.We get to sit on the bleachers.We are the role models of this school.I'm just happy we get to do these things.

It Has Been a Good Year .I was really nervous but I was put in the down stairs like I wanted .In science we always do lab project and that is always fun and I like social studies because you learn about the world .
The part that I like is that I am with my Friends Cameron , Jacob ,Ted , Ian , Tanner and Cole and nothing
bad has happened yet. I hate the food.

So far this school year was not so bad. This year was really fun because we do science experiments and the teachers are really funny. The most fun part about school is recess. Recess is where you can run free and talk to friends. I had lots of fun making my blog and singing in class. These are the reasons I like school.
The bad side of school is lots of work to do. There is also lots of homework to do. I don't have time to play video games when I have so much homework. And this time of year is hot and the cafeteria has no air conditioning and I sweat all over my food. I don't know why but school seems very long and I want to play outside or play video games. These are the the reason I do not like school.
Overall School did not start so bad. I am learning new things and making new friends. I think i'll like school more later in the year but right now is bad. This is about my school year so far.

So far this year has gone great. I have three friends Taylor, Chloe, and Abby. I like my new teachers but I like science the best. Science is my favorite class of the day. I love doing experiments. But my life at home just got changed. Yesterday my dad proposed to his girlfriend. So she and her three kids will be moving in. It will be kind of crowed my house is not very big. My year has been good so far. I really like Mr.McGuire's class because we sing and do blogs. My favorite class is science. I like doing the labs in Ms.Huysman's class. I really like the turtles in Ms.Huysman's classroom.
The only thing that hasn't been good is on fun friday I fell.It hurt really bad.
I like all my classes and in social studies we have jobs I'm the class preparation leader. In math class we get to find the greatest common factor and the lowest common multiple. In reading class we do blogs, Study Island, and we sing thats my favorite part. My favorite song that we sang was Springsteen, and Play It Again. In science class we do labs. I liked it we did how many drops of water fit on a head of a penny. I'm excited for our next project that we get to do we can make an edible or a none edible cell. We can make a plant or animal cell thats gonna be pretty cool.

So far this school year is going great! I like all of my teachers, my favorite subject is language arts. I like language arts because we get to use computers, and my favorite part is we get to sing! The thing I'm a little sad about is some of my best friends are in different classes. The thing I do not like is my bus ride it is really long! I'm the first one on and it will take around 45 to even 60 min to get to school in the morning. The afternoon bus ride is not so long it is only 30 min but that is the only thing I hate is my bus ride!!
