One thing I will remember about dare is the vision impairing goggles and the lava bridge. The cool thing about the goggles is that they make every thing look like it was slid over a foot to the right, and when you tried to walk across the bridge you would steep clear off the bridge and not even know it. But then you had to catch a tennis ball that was tossed to you from about 5 feet away.
I really liked when Deputy Thomas brought in Smoking Sussy and Chewing Chuck I though that was so funny, but is was so amazing how much tar (and snot) can end up in your lungs. Also that day he showed us some starters that are like candy that looks like drugs. It is so sad that companies will make candy that looks like drugs to try to make kids want to smoke.

What I enjoyed most about D.A.R.E was the D.U.I goggles because it so fun and my vision was blurry and everything was to my right so it was hard to see. I also liked the activities that Deputy Thomas set up because all of them were fun. My favorite activities were the D.U.I goggles, the pair of dirty lungs, and chewin Chuck. I thought those activities was fun because and they taught me something. The one thing dare taught me was to never do drugs ever and to be friendly to one another because not everyone has a good day and if you can be nice and make someones day better by just saying or doing something it could mean the world to them that you did that and it feels good that you did that one thing that made they're day a whole lot better. One thing I'll always remember about D.A.R.E is to stay away from the harmful drugs that can ruin my life and my future. Another thing I'll remember about D.A.R.E is how to control my stress by breathing and sometimes taking my mind off of other things because I personally think that will help in the future.

The one thing that I have enjoyed about D.A.R.E is learning about how bad drugs, alcohol, and smoking are for you!! I knew smoking was bad for you, but looking at the jug of tar that builds up in your lungs in just one year, I know that I will never smoke in my entire life!!!
One thing that I have learned is how drinking alcohol and taking drugs could really put your life in danger. In one of our past D.A.R.E classes, Deputy Thomas had us put these goggles on that made everything blurry and we had to try to walk a straight line!!! It was really hard and it kind of made your eyes hurt after wards. Deputy Thomas said that with the goggles on that we could drive like that!!! I could not believe it!!
Something that I will always remember about D.AR.E is that D.A.R.E means drug abuse resistance education. I will also always remember that when your in a difficult situation that D.A.R.E also means define, assess , respond, and evaluate. I have enjoyed D.A.R.E so much this year and I'm sure that I will enjoy it through out the year too!!!

Something I enjoyed the most about D.A.R.E is using the DUI goggles and walking across a bridge made of tape, Then trying to catch a tennis ball. I think that it really makes me think wow that we be super dangerous to drive drunk. It would even be dangerous walking around because you can't see straight. Another thing I enjoy about dare is if everyone wears their D.A.R.E tee shirts then we get recess for the last 15 minutes of class.
What I've learned at D.A.R.E is that drugs and alcohol are very bad for you. I didn't know that drugs are that bad for you. I'm glad I learned the consequences of drugs. I also didn't know that alcohol can make you see so bad. I know now how bad it is to drink and drive or to drive drunk.
Something that I will remember about D.A.R.E is D.A.R.E stands for drug abuse resistance education. I will also remember chewin' Chuck and Smokin' Sally and how smoking a pack of cigarettes a day for a year does.

What is your favorite thing about dare? What will you always remember about dare?
My favorite thing about D. A. R. E. is that we get to learn what happens to you if you smoke, do drugs or drink alcohol. It was fun because we did activities like the DUI goggles and smokin' Susy and her boyfriend chewin' chad. Deputy Thomas would always tell stories about what people would be like when they drunk alcohol or why they made joints look like cigarettes.

What did you enjoy most about D. A. R. E.? What's one thing that you've learned about D. A. R. E.? What's something you'll always remember about D. A. R. E.? One thing that I enjoy most about D.A.R.E is the activities that we do! My favorite activity that we have done so far would probably have to be when Deputy Thomas brought in goggles that made your vision messed up. It was to show what it would be like if you were a little drunk. He showed us what he made people do if they were drunk driving and they would have to walk in a straight line and turn around and catch a tennis ball. We got to try it to! I didn't walk in a straight line and I didn't catch the ball! One thing that I have learned about D.A.R.E is what D.A.R.E stands for.The D stands for Drugs. The A stands for Abuse. The R stands for Resistance and the E stands for Education. I also learned the decision making model. The D stands for Define. The A stands for Asses. The R stands for Respond and the E stands for Evaluate. One thing that I will always remember about D.A.R.E is how Deputy Thomas taught us to not do drugs!

One thing I learned from D. A. R. E. is that chewing tobacco is way worse than I thought. I never knew that chewing tobacco would give you sores and mess up your mouth. I thought it was something you sucked until the flavor wore out. I knew it was bad but I didn't know it did all that. That made me learn that I don't want to do it even more than I already didn't. It is disgusting to use something that could hurt you, why would you take the chance? If you don't do it that stuff won't happen to you.
In D.A.R.E I enjoyed learning things that I didn't know about drugs. I liked seeing the examples like the DUI goggles and Smokin Suzy and Chewing Chuck. I thought they were funny the way the made them and used them. The DUI goggles made you feel weird like double vision. Especially with the ball. The ball was right in front of you but it looked like it was to the left.
One thing I will never forget is Dept. Thomas. He always tells jokes that aren't funny, but he thinks they are. He always talks about one thing, then starts talking about something else he did, but then he doesn't remember what he was talking about first. He is friendly and he cares about kids not using drugs. You would think of a cop as a scary person but he isn't. I will always remember what he taught me and I will never use drugs.

Some of the the things D.A.R.E. has taught me is that smoking and drinking can effect your life. Like smoking ruins your lungs and fills them with tar. Drinking can ruin your liver and can kill off some of your brain cells. Doing drugs can also have very bad effects on your life and you should never use them. But not all drugs are bad like the ones they use to treat sick people. Another thing D.A.R.E. has taught me is smoking and drinking and using drugs all can give you a shorter life and can make the time you are alive very bad.

The thing that I enjoyed the most would probably be the goggles. It was fun seeing who could walk through the lines with out coming off. Then we had to catch a ball with em on, I did not catch it. One thing I learned is that drugs are really really bad and they can ruin your life. Something I will always remember about dare would be my most enjoyable thing which is the goggles.

Something that I've learned from dare is How alcohol is sometimes good for you but only when used wisely. It cleans out your system. But it does no good when not used responsible. I just thought all alcohol was bad for you. Another thing I learned is how smoking only one cigarette can do a LOT of damage to you.
What did I enjoy most about dare? I loved everything about dare really. But if I had to pick just one thing it would have to be the message that dare is trying to bring to us. I think its great how we are being educated on all of this. I mean some kids wouldn't know. Just to think how many kids this program is saving from ruining their lives.
Something I'll always remember about dare is NOT TO DO DRUGS! I learned that even just one can ruin you. They make you do dumb stuff and all for what? So when I offered some I will ALWAYS say NO!
Thank you for reading. And remember the next time someone asks you to do something bad just say no. Bye

I love D.A.R.E. so much! I enjoy every thing about D.A.R.E. that we have done. Favorite thing so far Though is when we used the goggles that made it seem like you were under the influence of alcohol. It made it hard to walk right and catch the ball. But it was super fun! One thing I learned is the D.A.R.E. is how D.A.R.E. started. It started by a police officer having trouble with kids in community so he started D.A.R.E. to teach kids. I think its good that D.A.R.E. is here. I think D.A.R.E. is good because lots of kids need to know not to do stupid stuff like drugs and smoking. I will always remeber the good times and fun times at D.A.R.E.! Thanks deputy Thomas.

What is D.A.R.E? What did you enjoy most about D.A.R.E? What is something that you learned in D.A.R.E? What is something you'll always remember about D.A.R.E?
D.A.R.E stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education. D.A.R.E is a program put together by the Pickaway county sheriff's office. D.A.R.E was developed to teach kids not to do drugs unless a doctor gave it to you and not to abuse drugs. D.A.R.E also teaches kids how to deal with stress and stressful situations.
One thing I enjoyed about D.A.R.E was Deputy Thomas because he is funny and really smart. I'm so thankful that he is willing to take time out of his day to teach kids the importance of not to abuse drugs. Deputy Thomas is really nice and has taught me a lot about why not to abuse drugs.
One thing I learned in D.A.R.E was that the worst way to deal with stress is to get mad. The reason why getting mad is the worst way to deal with stress is because it will only cause more stress. It is important to not get too stressed because it is bad for your health because the more stressed you are the more likely that you will get sick.
One thing I'll always remember about D.A.R.E is when we put on a pair of goggles and it messed with our vision. The goggles gave us the opportunity to see what it looks like to be drunk. We had to cross a bridge made of tape then we had to catch a ball. It was so fun.

What I enjoyed most about D.A.R.E is Deputy Thomas. He is hilarious! Mrs. Webb warned us about his jokes, she told us " When he says a joke almost never know when to laugh because he looks so serious." Now we know when he says jokes cause we can hear it in his voice. Another thing why he is so funny the other day we were drawing picture of how we relive our stress, and Marissa was drawing and she was drawing a picture of her jumping on the trampoline and Deputy Thomas asked '' Hm......Why does the girl in the picture have a Popeye arm?'' We all started laughing even Marissa. That's what I enjoyed at D.A.R.E! One thing I learned at D.A.R.E was that no matter what anyone says don't drink any you don't want to, or don't eat anything you don't want to. My mom told me a little bit about D.A.R.E, but one thing she always told me to not do anything I don't want to. But if it's homework for school I have to do it! One thing I will remember about D.A.R.E is that you can hang around people of your choices but make sure you don't do the things they want you to do, do what you want to do.

What did you enjoy most about D. A. R. E.? The thing I enjoyed the most about D. A. R. E. is getting to use the DUI goggles. It was so much fun. The DUI goggles show you how much of a change it is to be in the use of abusing alcohol. What's one thing that you've learned about D. A. R. E.? One thing I've learned about D. A. R. E. is that drugs are really bad for you. Drugs can even kill you. Drugs are not something you would want to do cause they can make you sick. Drugs are very addicting. What's something you'll always remember about D. A. R. E.? Something I will always remember is what the abuse of drugs can do to you because they can do more then just hurt you they can also kill you.
