What I enjoy most about D. A. R. E. was about the D.U.I. goggles. I did not know that alcohol can do that to you. One thing that I learned about D.A.R.E was that some people can use cigarettes all the time and not get sick. I though that if you do cigarettes you can get more sick. I though I knew what D.A.R.E means but I didn't. It means Drugs Abuse Resistance Education.
I like Deputy Thomas. He is awesome, funny, nice and kind. It was funny when my class had to draw a picture relax you from having stress. I think that D.A.R.E is fun to learn because Deputy Thomas makes it fun to learn. He make it fun, like making jokes and more. I think that D.A.R.E is really good for people that are using drugs because I think that people can get off of DRUGS. My mom and dad did so you can too. My mom used to smoke BUT now she does not. My dad used to do tobacco BUT now he does not.
SO YOU CAN TOO!!!!

What I think about D.A.R.E is that deputy Thomas a really great guy! The other day when he said to draw something when yoget really stressed out I drew me doing scrap booking and when he came around to my table he looked at mine and said Mrs.Webb she has her drawing and then it says scrap booking there is no guess there. When he got to a different table there is this boy and he was drawing his dog deputy Thomas said is that your pet goat?Everyone cracked up and was smiling.
The last thing we learned about was stress. There was 4 stations.NO STRESS,LOW STRESS,MIDDLE STRESS AND HIGH STRESS.Pretty much every time he would say something I would be in high stress. That is why I like deputy Thomas and how funny he is.

What do I like about D. A. R. E.? I remember is that D. A. R. E. means Drug, Abuse, Resistance, Education. Deputy Thomas told us that maybe two out of our whole class will either abuse drugs or alcohol, and I think that is really sad that might happen and some of my family smokes or drinks or even both! >.<
I think that D. A. R. E. is a good thing to teach in school because everyone sees stuff on the news about people getting arrested because of drugs or alcohol. So I think D. A. R. E. will help keep more kids out of the streets selling or buying drugs or alcohol.
I like that Deputy Thomas is funny in a cool way because he makes jokes that some people don't get until they realize that it was a joke. He just slips the joke in the conversation without many people realizing it.
And that is what I like about D. A. R. E.

One thing I enjoyed about D.A.R.E is when my whole class got T-shirts and was able to have extra recess, which was really fun! Another fun thing was when he brought some weird goggles so that if you put them on you couldn't see straight and that was really fun and I will never forget that day.
My D.A.R.E officer is deputy Thomas, and he tought us a lot about drugs and how they can hurt you. Deputy Tom told us about how you can get started on drugs and how there so addictive. I have learned so much from D.A.R.E!

What did you enjoy most about D. A. R. E.? What I enjoyed about D. A. R. E. is knowing there is someone out there in the world willing to give their time up to teach us kids about drugs and what can happen. But I loved everything about D. A. R. E. I think it was perfect. There wasn't one day I would walk in there and think "Oh my gosh not D. A. R. E." I'm just thankful that we have such a kind hearted person that works with us and tells us about drugs.
During D. A. R. E. I learned that there is always going to be people out there that is going to try you to do something that may harm or hurt yourself or someone else. But the only thing you have to do is say "No" and move on. I also learned how much drugs and alcohol and hurt you. I never thought that it could do that much damage to you. Another thing I learned is I WON'T be doing drugs or drinking alcohol.
Something I will always remember about D. A. R. E. is when we was taking pictures with all of our D. A. R. E. shirts on and Deputy Thomas sat by me and Blake and Mr. McGuire said "Well there's two thorns between a rose" I started dying laughing. I think that's what he said. All I know is it was hilarious.

What did you enjoy most about D. A. R. E.? What's one thing that you've learned about D. A. R. E.? What's something you'll always remember about D. A. R. E.? I really enjoy D.A.R.E because I gives us a perspective of drugs that you can't really get from a normal person. I really enjoy that we can do fun activities and learn at the same time. When we are doing D.A.R.E you get excited because you get to learn a new thing about this weird world in a fun way. I really enjoy that! I love the learning part because you have a real drug officer teaching you about drugs (Deputy Thomas). He's taught us about drinking where you get really confused in your head and your brain doesn't work right. I knew that because you always see drunk people and they act like they are lost in their head. But I really didn't know that it messed with your head. It was cool to learn. The one thing I will always remember is the drunk goggles. They are so cool. We had to walk across this straight line and catch a ball. You think it would be very easy but it's not when you have those glasses on it's hard because everything is moved over to the right to me. I walked the line right and caught the ball but it was really funny to see the other people walk across the line to the right. D.A.R.E really changes you life! THANK YOU DEPUTY THOMAS!!!

My favorite part of the whole D.A.R.E. program is Deputy Thomas! Deputy Thomas is one of the most laid back guy I've met! And he is so funny! Honestly when had our first D.A.R.E. class he was wearing his police officer uniform. I was kinda scared with the gun and all, but he just makes D.A.R.E. fun to learn about! One thing I've learned from D.A.R.E would probably be everything smoking and chewing can do to your lungs! I knew it was bad for you and it formed tar in your lungs but when he demonstrated "Smoking Suzy" and what it did to her rubber lungs was surprising! it formed hard spots her lungs! One thing I will remember would be that since you legally can't advertise smoking of some sort like that they have candies to are meant to be acting like chewing or smoking! Like shredded gum and candy cigarettes! And the drunk goggles! It was where we had to drunk goggles one and we had to walk over to the other side of the room without going in the lava! Then catch a ball without dropping it, it was hard not to go into the fake lava but you couldn't tell where you were going! But I did catch the ball! D.A.R.E. is a awesome opportunity for kids and everyone should experience it!

What was your favorite thing about D.A.R.E did you like D.A.R.E or was it not like you expected.? Well I loved Dare and my favorite thing had to be when we got wear these goggles and it made you look so different you had to walk across these two blue strips of blue tape and if you stepped of you fall into hot burning lava now thats not true but we believed it. And I stepped off but then got back on and also when you were done you had to catch the tennis ball and I caught it. (Cause I'am BOSS) But one thing I can't believe is that some people didn't want to go in this activity like heck I would of took their turn because it was Awesome and I wish I could do it again If I could write About one more thing just one more thing it would be Deputy Thomas cause he is awesome but that it so uh bye.

D.A.R.EWhat did you enjoy most about D. A. R. E.? What's one thing that you've learned D. A. R. E.? What's something you'll always remember about D.A.R.E? What did you enjoy most about D. A. R. E.? I enjoyed the activity on where you had to wear these goggles that made you balance and vision look like it woulds when you are drunk. Deputy Thomas made this "bridge" that you had to walk strait across or you would fall into the lava pit, I didn't make it!! Once you made it across the "bridge" he would throw a tennis ball at you to see if you could catch it. I didn't catch that, but I thought it was really funny to see all the other people try it!! What's one thing that you've learned about D. A. R. E.? I have learned how to say NO to smoking, drugs and alcohol. Even if your friend is ask if you want it of you are put in a dangerous situation, you still say no because smoking is bad for you lungs and your skin, the definition of drugs is "illegal substance: an often illegal and sometimes addictive substance that causes changes in behavior and perception and is taken for the effects," and alcohol is bad because it makes you dizzy and do bad things!! What's something you'll always remember about D.A.R.E? I always remember that smoking, drugs, and alcohol are bad for you. I will never take it unless a doctor says I need to take it in order to help me with my sickness or something! You can always get hurt when your taking those kind of things and you can hurt someone else, and that's why I will never take drugs or smoke or take alcohol!!

What did you enjoy most about D. A. R. E.? What's one thing that you've learned about D. A. R. E.? What's something you'll always remember about D. A. R. E.?
what I most enjoy about D. A. R. E was learning how do say no to a lot of stuff like drugs and smoking. When you are somewhere with your friends and see you see someone smoking and they ask you if you want to try one all you have to say is no and then run away. And if you see someone that has stuff that could really get you sick and in BIG time trouble you just run away.
One thing I learned about D. A. R. E is smoking is bad for you and you could easily die of smoking. Now we all now some body that smokes right I live with someone that smokes. And it could easily mess up your lungs .
One thing that I will always remember about D. A. R. E is that you can never drink and drive you can not smoke and you can not drink if you under 18 if you are older than 18 than it is OK.

I think that D.A.R.E is really fun we learn about a lot of stuff that is very useful. I thought that I knew a lot about drugs but I learned more new things about it. I have learned how dangerous they are and what it can do to your body. When we are in D.A.R.E we did a lot of fun activities. We did this thing where we had to wear goggles that made your eye sight messed up and we had to try to walk across a bridge and catch a tennis ball a lot of people missed the tennis ball and a lot of people went beside the bridge and put there hands together 1 second before the ball reach there hands. In D.A.R.E we also talked about stress and he had sigh up in the corners of the room and one said no stress another said low stress and then one said medium stress and another that said high stress and he would say something and we would go to the sigh that made us feel that way and when he said saying no to are friends I went to high stress and a lot of people went to no stress and he said that those people with no stress must not care about there friends feelings and we thought that was so funny. I have a lot of fun in D.A.R.E and that is what I have to say about D.A.R.E.

I think that D. A. R. E is Really fun because it teaches you to not do drugs or smoke or do alcohol and that can led to bad decisions to do those and we have activities and it is really fun ! but this one time we did wear we put on these goggles and it does not make look drunk it just when you look it the goggles it looks weird !! but you had to go over this bridge well it was not a real bridge it had duck tape to use as a bridge but then you had to walk a cross and then catch a tennis ball.

What did you enjoy most about D. A. R. E.? What's one thing that you've learned about D. A. R. E.? What's something you'll always remember about D. A. R. E.?
D. A. R. E. is that each letter stands for something like the letter D stands for Drugs, A stands for Abuse, R is for Resistance, E is for Education. I really like the definition for each word because it's such a small word but it can mean so much that sometimes I don't even realize how much it means until I learn about it and think about how much it means .
One thing I've learned is that people who are drunk have different vision than normal people. We had a rectangular shape tape that was on the floor, we had goggles that shows us how drunk peoples vision is. It was so weird instead of going straight you might go left or right. We cant even know where were going. We tried to catch the ball but I missed it because the vision was soo bad that I didn't see anything properly.
I learned all kinds of different things. Like you could get arrested from running away from home. There is all these chemical in a cigarettes. I liked hearing about people smoking pipes and people doing bad drugs. The reason I liked hearing about it was because you could hear about what it does to people. They could be brain damaged for life and they could think nothing happened and it makes there body feel weird. Someone can say your acting weird and they would think that nothing has changed. Hearing that makes me want to stay far away from smoking joints to smoking cigarettes or doing any type of tobacco. One thing I have to say is I don't wanna be someone who does any of that. And that's final.

What I learned from D.A.R.E is that it stands for Drug, Abuse, Resistance, Education. It is right, kids our age should should not do drugs. I have been asked but my answer is always no because drugs could kill me and that's the last thing we need at logan elm. If you do drugs it can make you feel like a superman because you feel no pain just like drinking does. It can make you hear and feel and look like theres something there but there never is. It also makes you walk a way you don't want to go or do something you usually don't do when your sober. The two guys who taught me this is my dad and Deputy Thomas. Deputy Thomas is pure pressure which is a bad thing and a good thing. It can make you do drugs if your friend says so because you don't want to lose your friend. Is he your friend? No because he or she wants you to do drugs which can kill you. Which is a bad thing if it kills you. Plus I loved the whole learning process.

D.A.R.E was awesome. In D.A.R.E we learned what drinking, doing drugs, and what smoking can do to. Every Wednesday in Fourth period we would walk in say good afternoon to Deputy Thomas and we get started. My favorite thing about D.A.R.E was learning about what drugs and alcohol did to you. I hope none of us every use these substances. By drinking alcohol you could get alcohol poisoning or even die because of it. By doing drugs people think it's good for you but it does the exact opposite to your body. Nobody should do drugs ever unless they are drugs that can help you. By smoking all the tar builds up and your lungs can fail. There is even a chance you can get lung cancer by smoking. We also learned about stress and what to do in a stressful situation. He asked some question to us and we had to go to what level of stress we would feel in that situation.
