But the absolute best thing about The Hallway is the noise. One minute it will be quiet with hardly a sound. Then, BOOM! Teachers will be screaming! and students will be laughing. Smiles will be shining everywhere. That's when I know that The Hallway is fun and The Hallway is just where I want to be!  I agree it is always fun when two teachers are yelling because they do it to joke around with us and try to put a smile on our face's which they do at least for me they do. Another reason why the hallway is fun is because you get to see everybody like your friends and other people you know. Im pretty sure everybody loves the hallway at our school if you don't well I don"t know then but the hallway is really it is the second most funnest thing in school. And that's why I like The Salt Creek HALLWAY.  good post it really shows what you like about this hallway. |

The best part of Salt Creek is "THE HALLWAY"! The best part of The Hallway is it is fun. You never know what might happen next. You never know when things are going to get crazy. You always know that people are going to be in a good mood. You always know that you will be with people you like. The teachers make this a great place. Mrs. Webb is always ready to help with anything. No matter what the problem or question, she is quick to get along. Mrs. Huysman shows up every day with that big smile. It doesn't make a bit of difference what is going on, she is smiling at people. Mrs. Hardin is wacky. She is always joking around, goofing off, and ready to get on Mrs. Huysman and Mrs. Webb. And when she does, I love joining in trying to get them fired up. Mr. Roe is always somewhere close by. He is waiting with a joke and a smile. He is the youngest 70 year old I have ever seen in my life. He acts like every day is the best day of his life. He makes it better for all of us by being here. The students in the hallway are the best. Any time I pass one in the hallway, he/she always smiles and throws out a "hello" or "how's it going?" The sixth graders in the hallway work hard, but they don't complain about it. They come in, do their best, and do it with a smile. It's so amazing how helpful the students are. Any time a classmate needs help, someone is ready to lend a hand. I don't think you could find better students anywhere in the world. But the absolute best thing about The Hallway is the noise. That's when I know that The Hallway is fun and The Hallway is just where I want to be! The best thing about " THE HALLWAY" is the conflict between Mr. McGuire and The General (Mrs. Hardin). They're always yelling back and forth to each other, screaming and yelling! Just for a second it will be quite and then you here a loud roar through out THE HALLWAY. Mrs. Hardin will scream something like "My students just learned how to do word problems and what did you do Mr. McGuire?" and Mr. McGuire will scream back "We learned Compare and Contrasts and how you can't do word problems without reading because word problems are all about reading! I mean it has the word "word" in it!". There is always some yelling in THE HALLWAY. I also can't live without mentioning the students. They are a big part of THE HALLWAY, too! I mean, I'm a student. But also the students upstairs aren't like us down here! The people down here are awesome, smart, out going, and weird in their own way! And those people upstairs are not like us. And everyone here in THE HALLWAY are just different. I also love the teachers. Well it wouldn't be THE HALLWAY without the teachers. It first starts off with Mrs. Huysman and Mrs. Hardin. They start yelling and fussing and then Mr. McGuire comes in and it gets louder. Then Mrs. Webb comes in and it gets louder! At the end Mr. McGuire over yells everybody else. We switch classes. They teach. And Repeat. And if your in THE HALLWAY and reading this, you know what I mean. But if your not in THE HALLWAY, well, GOOD LUCK!! I agree that one of the best things about the hallways is the conflict between Mr. McGuire and The General but you cant for get about the other teachers. For example how Mrs. huysman and The General or going on and on and on about football. Then how Mr. McGuire gives Mrs. Webb a reason to join in and make it even louder. That is what makes it the best thing about our hallway. About the students down stairs is way better the up stairs. the up stair people are missing so much fun. I'm surprised they don't hear our awesomeness from up there. They are also probably really jealous of us because we all got the best teachers and the best classmates and hallway-mates. When does Mr. McGuire not yell over everyone else. And you also cant forget the part when Mr. McGuire comes in when the teachers are teaching and pick on us and them. I love how you put repeat at the end. The funny thing is that is does repeat four times a day. |

I would say that the BEST thing about OUR Hallway would have to be the friendly smiles! The teachers, they are always smiling, and joking around with the kids! And in The Hallway, you get to see your friends upstairs going to lunch! The Hallway is amazing! It has that feel to it, like you know when you come to school, you will be OK! It is nice to have that feeling when you come to school! Knowing that it is going to be another great day! I love the teachers in the hallway!!! They couldn't get any nicer! For example, Mrs.Harden is SO nice! You can REALLY tell she loves what she is doing and who is doing it with her! And Mr.McGuire is um...Well...I will just say you can tell he loves messing around with the kids! And loves to pick on them! But, He is nice if you do your work, and try hard in his class! And Mrs.Webb is also very nice! She is a nice person ALL the way!!! It would be hard to get her to not like you!!! And Ms.Huysman, she is the best! She loves her students! And LOVES messing around with Mr.McGuire and Mrs.Harden! She may like the WRONG football team, but she is so nice and sweet person!!! (Mr.Huysman loves Michigan.) (Sorry...The team up North!!!) Mr.McGuire and Mrs.Harden LOVE to pick on Ms.Huysman for liking the WRONG team!!! They will always be yelling and playing around with each other! she always is yelling back at them! But The very best thing would be.....(drum roll please!!!) It's when we ( we as in all the kids and the teachers.) are in the hallway talking and standing there laughing and having a good time. That is what the best thing about our hallway!!! |

The best thing about our hallway is the noise and everything that goes on. Everyday all four of the teachers bicker back and fourth. Mrs. Huysman is a Michigan fan and Mrs. Hardin is an Ohio state fan so they argue a lot but of course they always joke around. Mr. McGuire is always teasing on Mrs. Webb and it's really funny! One minute it's quiet and the next you can hear the teachers yelling through the hall. I just love walking in the hallway because all of the teachers always greet me and they are always in a great mood. While I walk I can feel the energy of all of the students and staff. Our hallway has clear trophy cases with trophy's and plaques from the past students that attended Salt Creek. Our hallway is very energetic and fabulous! Abby I agree with you about the hallway. I love when 601 is getting into Mrs Webb's room and she closes her door and then Mr McGuire and Mrs Hardin and Mrs Huysman stared to have a fun argue then Mrs Webb gets in then every body in my class starts laughing. And I usually cracking up real hard.I am glad I am in the hallway. Our you? |

What I think that is awesome about this hallway is that all my teachers are awesome and my friends are the best.My favorite part about this hallway is that when we are in our class doing work and all of the teachers get in a fun argue about Michigan and all the rest like Ohio. I also like how when we are all sat down in social studies and Mrs Webb shuts the door and then Mrs Huysman and Mr McGuire and Mrs Hardin starts arguing then Mrs Webb gets into it.That is why I like being in this hallway.

Yeah the teachers always blab there mouths. There always blabbing there mouths and saying we the students always talk. I guess they dont listen to themselves when they talk because they are really loud. They can never stop talking even if they try.
Now, we the students hardly talk like the teachers. We whisper and stay quiet, but once you're around the teachers especially Mr.McGuire you're sure enough to go crazy.

The best thing about school is the HALLWAY!! Why the hallway is the best thing about school is because it is loud and crazy. But if you want to talk about loud lets talk about the teachers. Mrs. Huysman, Mr.McGuire and Mrs. Hardin are always yelling across the hall in between classes having fun with the students. Mr.McGuire is always making the students laugh by making fun of teachers in a fun way. Another reason why the hallway is the best part about school is because the hallway is like the media center of the school. You can see if someone is in a good mood or in a bad mood. Or if someone is wearing some sweet shoes or a sweet outfit. Also, if you are like me you can say hi to everybody. You can go out there and get a nice refreshing drink out of the water fountain. I like it when Mrs. Huysmen and Mrs.Hardin fight about which is better, Michigan or Ohio. Ohio state is so much better than Michigan though! The BIG MEAN SCARLET MACHINES are still un defeated! They are going to blow out the team from up north! I can't wait to rub it in Mrs. Huysmans' face!
I love to be in Mrs. Webbs class and walk out and the water fountain is right there. The bathrooms are near also. I love how lunch is right beside us also. It's also pretty awesome when everybody you see tells you hi! (if I do say so my self) Everybody in the Hallway is so friendly!!!! |

One of the thing's that's cool about the hallway is it's easy to make new friends. I like all of the teachers because they are nice and very loud. Mrs. Hardin has the loudest mouth out of all of the teachers. I could probably make friends with all of the students in the hallway. Seth P. and Luke B. are my two best friends in the hall way. I also like the hallway because I get good grades and it is easy to have fun. The best thing about the hall is this we are aloud to talk to our friends more than last year because the teachers would always tell to be quiet. I agree with Ryan the hallway is a good place. Especially to make friend and to have fun! It's funny when the teachers yell at each other. They yell through the halls at the top of there lungs. last year the hallways were a weird places for 5th graders. The teachers would be screaming and it was weird place. Ben, Skylar, and Jersey ane my best friends in the hallway. There hallway is a weird And funny place. |

I also like when the teachers talk and argue (but they are just joking) about football teams and when they make jokes on each other. I think the hallway is the most funniest and happiest place in school! I love it when they do that. You are sitting in a classroom and then you hear Mr. McGuire yelling at one of the teachers. On the first day at school I was sitting in Mrs. Huysman's and she walked out the door and there was Mr. McGuire yelling at her. Then I love it when the teachers yell at each other about football teams. I LOVE MICHIGAN! That's why I love Mrs. Huysman's classroom with all the yellow and blue. I do not like the scarlet in Mrs. Hardin's room ugh!!!! But it's still hilarious when it was the first day at school. I jumped out of my seat and looked out the hallway and there they were. See these are reasons why I love Salt Creek Intermediate !!!!!!!! |

The hallway gives all the rooms just this connection. You can just walk down the hallway into another room It doesn't even take any effort. You can squeak your shoes down the shinny golden floors in the hallway . The hallway Is like the highway and were like the cars. It helps us travel down the road to other places(classrooms). When everybody walks into the school the first thing they see is the hallway. It helps Mr. McGuire strut down to Mrs Hardin's classroom and call her the general. Without the hallway the school would fall down. You can see what all the teachers have put outside there classroom and see what there working on. Sometime they have some cool stuff put out there for everybody to see, And sometimes you might even be on the wall in the hallway. But the absolute best thing that's in the hallway is the noise. You can hear different noises from all different classrooms and walk down the hallway and one teacher yelling at another to quite down. I think it's pretty funny. When your in your classroom you can hear people walking down the hallway going to lunch or recess laughing . You can hear the band playing in the morning. You can hear just all different kind of interesting noises in the hallway. The hallway is the place to be! You are so right about this Dylan. It's funny when Mrs.Hardin and Mr.McGuire argue. It always brings a smile to my face because they scream. When Mr.McGuire calls Mrs.Hardin the general I think she gets mad because her face looks mad. |
