I read for a lot of reasons. I read for information when I need to know or learn something. I read for entertainment. I read to keep up on my favorite sports teams. Really though, I read because I can't not read. It's just something I always do.
Whenever I need to know something the first thing I do is get on Google. I don't even think about it, I just get on the computer or my IPhone and do a search. I am constantly checking something, sometimes just to try to win an argument, others just to find out something I don't know.
I love to sit and read a good book. I can sit for an hour or more and never move. When I get into a book, the world disappears around me and I join into the world in the book. I become a character and I live his life. I think books are much better than TV because I can picture myself right in the middle of the action.
I read newspapers and websites every day. I want to know what is going on with the Cincinnati Reds. I check out the box scores to see who did well the last game. I read about The Ohio State Buckeyes, anxious to find out about new basketball recruits, and to learn about which football player played well last week. I want to hear what Urban Meyer has to say about the team. I read about the Cleveland Browns hoping there might be some good news.
Reading is a part of me that I really don't totally understand. I can't just sit. I have to have a book, newspaper, or magazine. If not, I am on the Internet reading about beagles, or horses, or Harleys. No matter where I am, or what I am doing, I always have something to read close by.

Edit before publishing!
I read because books are good and fun and other thing. I just like them because they interest you and they have good story. They are good when you have nothing to at time. They are end less to read. I read them for information. Stick to first person (I, me, we).
I read lego books so I can build different stuff. I read other for no reason because I think they are just good. I read history books to learn about history. I like to set there and read a book about any thing at all. I love reading informational books about any thing.
I like the Lost Hero books they are very good. I like sports books to I do not no why. I love reading books and other things. I think reading is awesome to me. (Why? What makes them good?)

I read for a hole bunch of reasons but the main reason is to my thoughts books give you more information than what a video or a T.V gives you. Books are really fun to read they always make me want to read more and more every second my eyes are on that book. I love to read the Matched series the series is very exciting. Its always making you think and wonder and that's the kind of books I like to read. I normally read at school when I'm aloud to and when I get home if I don't have anything to do I'll pull my book out and start reading until my eyes are burnt from words. When I read I just block everything out of my mind so that way its just the book and I. When I'm reading I like to picture myself ethier in the book or in that type of problem. My second reason I like books more than anything is they tell you alot of information and they just always to me make more since then the show or videos of the same thing. Also I got to get use to reading because my Language Arts period is all about making sure you read everything and more. My favorite thing to hear from Mr.Mcguire is its time to read.

I read for entertainment. Reading helps me relax. I can't just sit and not have a book in my hands. I'm always reading things. I read on the bus in the car everywhere. If it's not a good book I abandon the book. I don't waist my time on it. If I can't relate the character to me between the first two chapters normally that's not the book for me. Good books you can put your self as the character. I can sit and read a book for an hour or more if it's the kind of book that I can put the character as me.
I'm always checking things on the internet and researching words I don't know the meaning to. If my parents or someone says a fraise that I don't know what it means I get on Google and look it up. I'm always looking up places to visit and reading about them. I'm also always looking up things that could happen to my Mom when she is going through Chemo. Reading is really relaxing. I love to read. I read all kinds of things to scary books to funny books.
Reading is amazing!

Why Do You Read? I read because I think reading is fun. Especially when you have a great book. For me a great book is filled with action and adventure. Right now in the book I'm reading Alex is chasing after His worst enemy. I can read forever when I get into a really good part. But if it is a boring non adventure book or part I get board really fast. One of my favorite series of all time is The Percy Jackson series. And is a different series but continues Percy Jackson is The Lost Hero Series. I started the series in 4th grade and finished it at the end of last year. I really like reading. I can't get my nose out of a book. I read because like to. Thats why I like to read.

I read for many reasons. Well I read to know what a word means or get information.I also read for fun just to keep me busy. I read to know what to do and to know where to go like a map. I am think I mostly read just for fun. I also read road signs well whoever is driving is the real person to read those. I read store and food names to know what the place is. I also read to entertain other people besides me. I read on a computer to know what to click on. I read to learn something. Well I really can't think of many reasons why I read. There is a lot of reasons to read though. I just keep thinking about what I do and how that relates to this. It is very important to read, there is words everywhere it is the best thing to talk to people with out saying any thing. Those are some of the reasons I read.

I love to read for those reasons too. I also like to read to get away from the craziness of moving and to just expirience other points of view. I think reading builds your vocabulary. It also helps you to learn lots of things you wouldn't know otherwise like in my books I learn about famous people, like Benjamin Franklin and Wolfgang Mozart. I love to read!

Mr. McGuire said: Why do you read?
The reason I read is because reading relaxes me and it makes me feel good about myself. I usually read entertainment, information and sometimes magazines. Most of the time I read because I feel I just need a good book to read. If your like me you're always getting caught up in reading, especially if it is a great book.
Every time I want to learn something new or I am doing a project for school I always get on the internet and look it up. Whenever I think about it the internet is not the best place to go. A informational book is the best place to go because it is full of all kinds of information and the internet may just have information on what people think, not what is true.
Also when I read I want to read in a nice quit place because I feel when I read in a nice quit place I can picture all the action, drama and mystery. When I read a book I feel like all my worries and all my surroundings just disappear or go away too. Books to me are just an amazing adventure of life. That keep you wondering and excited. I like to read in the car. Every time we go somewhere I try to make sure I have a book in the car. When I read a book in the car I feel like it makes time fly by. Also when I read in the car I feel like the movement of the car makes me more into the book and it relaxes my brain to read more and grow my vocabulary.
I feel like the more I read the stronger I become at school skills and at life skills. No matter what I read it always relaxes me and makes me feel good about myself. I think everyone should read because I think it will help them at everything they do. That is why I read.

No matter where I am, or what I am doing, I always have something to read close by. I read books for entertainment. I read books for drama. I read books for adventure. I read books when I have to or not. I read for everything. Because if I don't know how to read I can't do anything. Because I can't do Math or Social Studies, or Science without it. Because how will I do word problems in Math? Or read text books in Science or Social Studies? Or read atlases in Social Studies? What ever I do, I have to read! I also read to learn. Whenever my brothers and I make a bet we search it on ether Bing or Google. Like once we where in North Carolina and went to this restaurant and saw a bunch of clown fish in tank. Well, we both said at the same time "Nemo!" Then my brother was saying "Don't forget Neoms dad, Marvin!" And I was like "No Guinness, It's Marlin!" And the war began! So, I went on my moms IPhone and checked. Turns out, I was right (Whop Whop)And that's how I read to learn. And I read because I have to. So I can get a good grade. Like today, I was thinking about my homework for Mr. McGuire and how I had to read 180 minutes to get an A. So I was thinking "Yah I have 180 minutes." But then I counted in my assignment book and it said 140 or something like that. And then my mind exploded! My mind was running all over the place. Thinking how much I have to read and I have to do it when I get to school early. And I was just freaking out! After I've read like 40 minutes I log it in to the reading log. Turns out I forgot that I helped Mr. McGuire and I got 60 minutes extra. And I though well I had a good time reading and I get extra credit! And that my friends is why I read!

I read for a lot of reasons. The reason I read a lot is because like if I have a good book and I get so interested in I just cant stop its like a magnet pulling me in.
I don't just read for entertainment. I also read for information like a science book of social studies book. Like letters too because you are reading for information from a friend or a family member.
Have you ever got a book that was so good you just don't want to stop reading. Well that happens to me a lot. Especially if i'm close to the end it just sucks me right in. I get like that a lot because a lot of books get really good at the end.

Why do I read? I read because reading is fun. I love too read all the time. I read because reading relaxes me if I get stressed or have a really bad day . I read for enjoyment. Whenever I read I can read for hours and hours, when I read it feels like I am in the book being part of it, going too far away places, exploring, going into battle with the characters. One of the main reasons I read is to get away from it all, school, homework, people, and everything else. I read too go somewhere else and be someone else and do thing I wouldn't dare do in the real world. I read for entertainment. I am always reading, everywhere I go I bring my book. If I don't have my book then I read signs and other stuff. I read for information, if I want too know something I go get on the computer or I grab a book that's about what I want too know. Reading is a part of my life I can't throw out. That is why I read.

Why do I read you read you ask? I read for a lot of reason. I read for entertainment. I think they are entertaining because I get the felling sometimes when I am right in with the action. But I don't usually read for info I use my iPhone for that.
The sad thing is I love reading so munch that on time my mom forgot that I was home and she ended up leaving me identically.
Whenever I read it is like a magnet is pulling me in and I just have to keep one reading like my life depends on it. Whenever I read the outside of the book is nothing to me me and I completely zone all of the sound around me away. It feels like I am in the book right in the middle of action or drama.
I love whenever you are reading a book and you get to a action point and you are on the edge of your feet.

I read because it is the fun of it. Another reason I read because I think the book are very interesting on my opinion. The books I read are the Vet Volunteers series. I think they are interesting because you will try to find out what is happening in the clinic with all of the volunteers.
