My favorite genre is probably nonfiction sport books. I like them because I can attach with them and they relate with me because I play sports. I like others a little but I would have to say nonfiction sport books are my favorite. I like Mike Lupica books and I love the book Box Out by John Coy.

What is my favorite genre? It's hard to chose, I like all kinds of genre's but if I have to pick one it's horror. Horror is my favorite because I like scary things. A lot of horror story's have gory stuff in them and I like books that have gory things in them. I like horror story's and horror movies. A lot of the horror books that I read are by Mary Downing Hahn she writes really good books, one of my favorite books she has wrote is Wait Till Helen Comes. It is about a family that moves to a new home and the youngest kid talks to a ghost and tells her step sibling that Helen will come get them. If you like to read horror books than check out some of Mary Downing Hahn's, we have a lot of her books in the book room.

My favorite genre is Realistic fiction it's my favorite genre because it's about things that's true and can really happen in life. Normally I read the ones about people that have special problems just because it makes me feel the way they feel. I always think about how they feel and what they would be like with no friends or whatever they do like just staying home all day. It makes me feel like I'm inside of the book with the characters making them the way they are. And making me feel like I'm the person that has the person that has the problems. Which sometimes it's not the best to feel the way they do but it just makes me more into the book then other books.
The book So B it affects the genre I read because almost made me cry just because I felt so bad for the girl that had a mom with a brain bum to where the mom didn't even really remember her won daughter. Which would really hurt the daughters feelings. So now that the mom has a brain bum the neighbor just moved in with the child and the mom so that way the neighbor could take care of the mom. which was kind of good because the neighbor was to scared to go outside and the girl was just a normal girl that always thought out of the box. The book fit within my genre because I felt exactly how the girl felt I mean I don't even know why I just felt like I was just another character in the book which that's what I like about books is when you can put yourself in the book and be a character. That's one reason why I think I cried in the book just because the book made me feel like I was a person inside the book doing and listening of what they're doing.

My favorite genre is adventure. I like adventure because there is always a mystery to the story that makes you want to read the book all in one day. Adventure books are never boring books either. There always fun, awesome books to read. In adventure books you always figure out what and why everything has happened at the end of the book. I hate books that you always know whats going to happen without even reading the book. Its boring to read toughs kind of books. So that's why i like reading adventure books.

My favorite genre is probably realistic fiction. I feel like I can relate to that more than I can anything else. Like if your reading about about this demon that is using his flying powers to capture all the people you cant relate to that. Last time I checked your not a demon that flies, well maybe in your imagination. If your reading a book about this girl who goes to a new school so she is really scared them maybe you can relate to it a little bit better.
The book rules its a girl who lives with her brother and her mom. Well her little brother has to go to a special doctor. At the doctor she meets this boy who cant walk. See that's not as bad you can relate to it more. I'm sure you know someone that has some kind of medical condition. That's what makes it realistic fiction because it could really happen. Maybe not the same exact way but it could happen.
The book rules effected my choice because I loved that book and I could really relate to it because someone I know has a Chronic illness It doesn't stop him though he still can do everything I can. I know its a different illness and everything but I still know someone with an illness. Also the boy she meet couldn't talk and I know someone who had a stroke and can't talk. So that's why i picked the book rules.

My favorite genre is realistic fiction because it can be like about a persons life and it can seem like it really happened to the person in the story but at the same time it didn't really happen. I really like when the person telling the story is talking to you,and telling you the story of their life or a event that happened.Right now I am reading Whats Left Of Me and it is realistic fiction. The main character Eva is telling the story and she puts allot of emotion to the story, so far its a really good book.I also like non fiction books depending on my mood. Most people choose a book by reading the back of the book to see what book suits them, that's what I do to see if I like the book, most of the books I read have turned out to be realistic fiction I think that is part of why I chose it to be my favorite genre.Anyway thanks for reading my opinion!

Explain what makes a genre your favorite. Tell about a book within that genre and how it affected your choice. How does that book fit within the genre? Please give specific examples and details. My favorite genre is probably realistic fiction, or science fiction. I want some thing that I can relate to (like Out of My Mind)(realistic fiction) but I also love books that talk about aliens or things that come up in the future (like Divergent or The Hunger Games)because I'm just a big science geek (science fiction)!
My favorite book I've read that is realistic fiction would "Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper " I loved this book because it was a mixture of sadness and excitement. Even though I can't really relate to how Melody is feeling in all of the drama, I still feel like she is talking to me.
My favorite science friction book I've ever read is "Divergent by Veronica Roth" I haven't finished Divergent yet, but I love it so far because it's adventurous and daring. At some parts it made me want to cry, in other parts it made me smile, in other parts it made me wonder, and think, and the list just goes on, and on, and on!
In Out of My Mind, Melody Brooks, (main character) can't walk or talk, or pick up anything, she can't even go to the bathroom by her self (which would totally be a downfall for me cause I need my Abby time!). But she is brilliant (Like, she's probably the new girl Einstein). And as I'm reading this book, I'm thinking, "This is crazy!" and "I can only imagine!".
In Divergent, a girl named Beatrice, (main character) is 16, and has to pick her faction. Right now she lives in Abnegation, but after she takes her test in stead of getting Abnegation, or Amity, or Candor, or any of the others, she gets Divergent.
Those are my favorite genres, thanks!

My favorite type of genre is fiction. Because I find it more interesting to read about fiction. I like the mystery, action, and sometimes I will read horror types of books. But if I had to choose I my favorite genre is a mix of mystery and action. Those types of books get me jumping out of my chair. Or in some cases I can't put the book down.
There was a time where my step-mom Judy said she was going to the store and I did not even hear her. There are a lot of action/mystery books all over the place!

Well Mr.McGuire is reading a book called the Watchers and it is a really really good book it is a mystery and I love it. I like mystery's they get me thinking what is going to happen next. Like he reads until the watchers say something and then he stops and it kinda in a way makes me mad because I really want to know what is going to happen next. It is about this kid and his best friend where playing on the ice and they both drop through the ice and this girl helped one of them out but the other one died
So he lived in regret for a long time then he found a camera that the watchers gave to him but he didn't know they did and when eh looked through it he could see the past and he is going to try to go back and stop the death of his best friend.

A Romance Fan-Fiction.
The belief that two people, usually fictional, would be interesting or believable (or are, or will be, or should be) in a romantic relationship. To "ship" a couple means to be paired together in romantic fan fiction.
Romance is the expressive feeling from an emotional attraction towards another person.
A Fan-Fiction is fiction written by a fan of, characters from, a particular TV series, movie, (or in my case One Direction)
So A Romance Fan-Fiction is fiction written by a fan that have expressive feelings for an emotional attraction towards another person, characters from, a particular TV series, movie ect. (or in my case One Direction !!!!!)
(One Direction are an English-Irish pop/rock boy band based in London,The boys that are in the band is of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.)
