When you ever have to write about something or when you want to write. How do you think of an topic to write about? What do you use? How is using it so helpful?

When I want to think of an topic to write about I normally pull out a piece of paper, find a pencil, and go somewhere that's not very noisy. But after I get everything ready I start to think about what would I like to write about and what would give me a lot to write about that's going to keep me fascinated.
When you write have you ever thought I got to hurry up and get it down before I forget. I'm always hurrying up and getting it written down even if its sloppy. Normally I make a rough draft with writing all over the paper of my ideas and things that I should write about. But after I'm done making the rough draft I put everything together and make as many paragraphs I can make.
I can usually make at least 6 paragraphs. But sometimes I don't get enough information to be able to write about. I'll have to think of a hole new topic or I'll ask or get on the internet and research things that I might be able to compare to what ever I'm writing about. Paper and pencil are the most helpful with me because I like making my own words and how I think it sounds the best. Also it makes me feel like its not the computer telling me what to say or write its me that's telling myself to write or say something. Another reason I like paper and pencil is paper and pencil tells everyone and even yourself that your the one that thought of the idea. Which that should make you feel great about yourself!

I usually just think about it first just like I did for this post. Or I just go and type if I know what to type. Casually I would write it down before I type it but if it's due the day I'm typing it i just think for a minute and type it. I also think of how I could expand the posts.

When I am deciding what to write about I think of a topic first. I think about stuff I like or things that have happen to me recently. I think of one thing then it comes to other thought. Then I usually get the idea. That is the first thing I do. Then I think about the introduction. I think about the first sentence or two. Then once I start writing I just think as I go along. That helps most of the time but sometimes I actually think about every single word. I don't ever like write it down or something I think that is confusing. At the end of it the conclusion. I don't think about that before I just think as I go along. I think that works best for me is think of a topic then just think of the rest as I go along. Well that is pretty much what I do when I think about what I am going to write about.

I decide what to write about............... When I try to decide something to write about I think back to moments me and my friends had or even softball (Cause I do nothing else than softball everyday). I think what would be good for someone to read? I wonder will they like my stories? Would they relate to it? I just think hard and hard and boom it pops up in my head. I can't stop writing after that! That's how I decide what to write about!

There are a few different ways that I use to decide what to write about. One way is Mr. McGuire gives us all a question of the week. On that week we have to answer the question in a couple paragraphs. I think the question of the week help Mr. McGuire get to know us better and read our opinion on the matter he asks us about. I also decide what to write about on my blog. Mr. McGuire usually give us a topic that we have to focus on and that helps us get ideas. When I get to pick something to write about I think of my life and stories that have happened and putt together a great post! I hope this helped anyone that is having a hard time deciding what to write about. Just remember you can always make up fiction!

How I decide what I write about, I sit in my chair and think for a min. And see what my ideas are for the topic. I see if I have anything in common with the text and see if I can right about it and make it interesting. I start to write and then I start to get into what I'm writing about and then I keep writing and then it starts to get fun. When I right about things I don`t want to stop and it has been easy for me to write. I decide how to write from those things that I just talked about and that's has helped me to write this whole time!! Your Student, Sydney=]

How do I decide what to write about???Well I just sit there and think of stuff iv'e did and write about it. Or i'll just sit there and think of stuff that I really wanna do that iv'e never done before. Like for an example if someone asks me to write what I did over the summer I will just sit and bunch up all these activities I did over the summer. I would do the same thing if someone asked me what iv'e been doing the past couple weeks. Then if I can actually write about whatever I want like I can pick the topic and everything,I will just sit there and think of usually fun things iv'e did a long time ago. Or not to long ago. Or I will just write about something I really bad want to do.

I think of what my topic should be. Then when I have a topic sentence I start to type or write it down and then I put some details with it to. You can't put something down and then don't put any details with it then it would be all wrong. You have to have supporting details to what you write about because if you don't then you will get a bad grade on you sentence or paragraph. And then you think " Well How Did I Miss This" then you look over it and you found out what you missed on it then you correct it. And then you ask your teacher if you can turn it back in and they say yes then turn it in and then see what you get the second time round. It won't hurt if you just sit there for a little bit and think about a topic sentence to write and the supporting details with it so you can get a good grade on it instead of a bad grade. If you got a lower grade than what you wanted then redo it and turn it back in to the teacher and then see what you get the second time you turn it into the teacher if you were aloud to turn it in again.

How do I decide what to write about you ask I just think of exciting things that happens in my life. I also just think of what do I mainly have enough stuff to write about on that topic. It is sometimes infuriating when I am writing because I do not know what to write about. Like I was writing about camp and what I did so I thought of what have a lot to write about.

How do I decide to write about? Well, I think about things in life. So, maybe someone may ask me to write about Teamwork, I would think about things that relate to life that do with that topic. Here's an example, Mr. McGuire tells us to write about School, I will think about what we do in school and what I like about it and that means you will be thinking about something that you do in life.
Sometimes, I don't just use life, I use what I've learned in my years. Like our essay on Camp Oyt' Okwa. We just went there so I know a little about Camp, I will be learning even more when I go to the spring camp. Just today, Mr. McGuire told us to write about Camp, so I remember what I did at camp and what I learned about. That's how you can use stuff from the years you have learned stuff and your experience.
So, maybe when you are asked to write about something that you have experienced in life and use it. That is my hint to you because you will need to write about things that you have learned about. Maybe you might make a website about your life and tips to other people. So, be ready to whatever comes to you because you might just write about it in life.

Another reason I like paper and pencil is paper and pencil tells everyone and even yourself that your the one that thought of the idea. Which that should make you feel great about yourself! What I do is brain storm about what happened that was interesting in the past couple of days. Like when we went to camp Mr. McGuire told us to think about what our favorite part of it was. So I sat there and thought of all the activities we did at camp. I picked the Hidden Cave, and so I sat there and thought of all the things that made The Hidden Cave fun. I usually just think of stuff to say and just whatever is in my mind goes in to the computer and I've been told that it is very true by a good friend. Like this doesn't have anything to do with a computer but I was in the car with my friend Abby Hardin and my dad told me to text my mom. She asked if the pizza was cold and being like I am I said "No, it's not cold and it is delicious!" And Abby told me "Of course! Whatever is up there always goes into there!" I can usually think of at least 3 paragraphs. And at the most I can probably make 7. Usually if I can't think of anything I just write and write and write and eventually get off topic. Or if I want just want to write I get on Google or I write about one of my friends. And if I can't write about the topic I ask my friends or my seat neighbor to help me. I also just get on the computer and look up pictures or interesting words to find out what I should write about. And usually I get passed on what I write!

How I write is I sit down with pencil and paper and write down random topics and the one that really gets me interested and I really have alot to say about I write about it. Like bullying for an instance I haven't posted it but I'm working on a bullying blog post and if I was able to I would probably sit down for three hours without moving to write about it. But5 just like these to paragraphs they look like good a good paragraphs
It helps me to use pencil and paper to jot down ideas because you can take that pencil and that piece of paper anywhere so anywhere you are you can write down your ideas. I also forget stuff easy so I have to hurry up and jot it down. You could be at a store and someone says something about that new news story out and you could jot down to write about a news story.
