I read for entertainment. Reading helps me relax. I can't just sit and not have a book in my hands. I'm always reading things. I read on the bus in the car everywhere. If it's not a good book I abandon the book. I don't waist my time on it. If I can't relate the character to me between the first two chapters normally that's not the book for me. Good books you can put your self as the character. I can sit and read a book for an hour or more if it's the kind of book that I can put the character as me.
I'm always checking things on the internet and researching words I don't know the meaning to. If my parents or someone says a fraise that I don't know what it means I get on Google and look it up. I'm always looking up places to visit and reading about them. I'm also always looking up things that could happen to my Mom when she is going through Chemo. Reading is really relaxing. I love to read. I read all kinds of things to scary books to funny books.
Reading is amazing!
Kaylee I like how you said a lot about reading. Keep up the good work!

I read because it helps me get away from all of my problems, i'm NOT going to tell my problems . But another reason why I like to read is because if I like the book its like a little t.v in my head. I read because it can be entertaining and mysterious . I like to read because some books are funny, mysterious, drama like, and last but not least scary, and all of the books suit me and express who I am.I read because it gives me something to do when im bored. I read when im sad too, when i'm sad i mostly read happy or exiting books, when im bored I read really anything . Good job. Oh and I like all the colors.

I love reading!!! The reason I love to read or why I read is because I like to explore and read about different stuff. Reading is a part of me because when I get into a book I feel like I`ve been captured into that book and I`m the character that I was reading about. When I have been reading or have just picked up a book I can`t put it down. I just feel like that addicted to my book and that`s fun just to sit down with a good book When I read know it is like I`m a whole new person I get it! Mr. McGuire has opened doors for me in reading , He`s had me read some books I thought I would hate but it turned out I loved them. I read more than I watch T.V. In second grade I used to hate reading it was something I was just not good at and it wasn`t fun to not get why everybody had liked reading way more than me, I just didn`t get. Since fifth grade I`ve hated reading until now. Thanks for showing me how good books can be and why they can be good. Your Student, Sydney Sydney I like how it is really long. I also like that you gave a lot of reasons for reading.

Why do I read? I read because when I'm in a bad mood I read. When I'm sad I read. Or when you really like that book or you found this one part of this book you just want to keep going ti'll I stop. Then when I read an paragraph a quote even maybe a text you always feel something! The feelings I get when I read you will probably get. Like the feelings are Sad, Happy, Mad, and maybe you start to think about it. That's why I read ! Good post Kara. I like it.

I read for a lot of reasons. I read for information when I need to know or learn something. I read for entertainment. I read to keep up on my favorite sports teams. Really though, I read because I can't not read. It's just something I always do. Whenever I need to know something the first thing I do is get on Google. I don't even think about it, I just get on the computer or my IPhone and do a search. I am constantly checking something, sometimes just to try to win an argument, others just to find out something I don't know. I love to sit and read a good book. I can sit for an hour or more and never move. When I get into a book, the world disappears around me and I join into the world in the book. I become a character and I live his life. I think books are much better than TV because I can picture myself right in the middle of the action. I read newspapers and websites every day. I want to know what is going on with the Cincinnati Reds. I check out the box scores to see who did well the last game. I read about The Ohio State Buckeyes, anxious to find out about new basketball recruits, and to learn about which football player played well last week. I want to hear what Urban Meyer has to say about the team. I read about the Cleveland Browns hoping there might be some good news. Reading is a part of me that I really don't totally understand. I can't just sit. I have to have a book, newspaper, or magazine. If not, I am on the Internet reading about beagles, or horses, or Harleys. No matter where I am, or what I am doing, I always have something to read close by. I read books for entertainment. I read books for drama. I read books for adventure. I read books when I have to or not. I read for everything. Because if I don't know how to read I can't do anything. Because I can't do Math or Social Studies, or Science without it. Because how will I do word problems in Math? Or read text books in Science or Social Studies? Or read atlases in Social Studies? What ever I do, I have to read! I also read to learn. Whenever my brothers and I make a bet we search it on ether Bing or Google. Like once we where in North Carolina and went to this restaurant and saw a bunch of clown fish in tank. Well, we both said at the same time "Nemo!" Then my brother was saying "Don't forget Neoms dad, Marvin!" And I was like "No Guinness, It's Marlin!" And the war began! So, I went on my moms IPhone and checked. Turns out, I was right (Whop Whop)And that's how I read to learn. And I read because I have to. So I can get a good grade. Like today, I was thinking about my homework for Mr. McGuire and how I had to read 180 minutes to get an A. So I was thinking "Yah I have 180 minutes." But then I counted in my assignment book and it said 140 or something like that. And then my mind exploded! My mind was running all over the place. Thinking how much I have to read and I have to do it when I get to school early. And I was just freaking out! After I've read like 40 minutes I log it in to the reading log. Turns out I forgot that I helped Mr. McGuire and I got 60 minutes extra. And I though well I had a good time reading and I get extra credit! And that my friends is why I read! Oh my gosh you are always writing so much. Keep it up.

I read because I like to. I think reading is awesome . I read all the time.I can never stop. When I get a good book I can't put it down. I think reading is a good resource. I read for information and entertainment . It helps keep me entertained when I'm bored. It makes me smarter too. It also helps me get to sleep on nights when I have trouble getting to sleep. I am just so happy with reading in my life. If I didn't have reading in my life then I would go crazy. I live a happy life with reading and I hope it never ends. Good job on the post Taryn. I could not even think of that many.

I have a lot of reasons why I read, but one of them is because reading is like an adventure. An example is of a book the was like an adventure is "The Hunger Games" and it was an adventure because it really felt like you where in The Hunger Games. When I read it, it gave every little detail of The Hunger Games. I feel that when I am reading, I am in the book. That is one reason I read, but there is a lot more reasons why you need to read and one of the big reasons is because it is FUN. Another reason I read is because when I have nothing to do there is always something, READING. So, when ever I get bored I read, but not just because i'm bored, it's because I feel like reading. Maybe you are reading, but you are just doing it because bored, well don't think of it like your just doing it, think of it like you are really in that book and that's why you are reading. Sometimes when I am going to basketball in Zanesville, I read. That's why I read and just a tip, read because you want to,not just because you are bored. Take my tip because maybe sometimes you are in a situation you may need to read to thousands of people, that's why you need to read. I like how you said a lot of reasons for reading.

Mr. McGuire said: Why do you read? The reason I read is because reading relaxes me and it makes me feel good about myself. I usually read entertainment, information and sometimes magazines. Most of the time I read because I feel I just need a good book to read. If your like me you're always getting caught up in reading, especially if it is a great book. Every time I want to learn something new or I am doing a project for school I always get on the internet and look it up. Whenever I think about it the internet is not the best place to go. A informational book is the best place to go because it is full of all kinds of information and the internet may just have information on what people think, not what is true. Also when I read I want to read in a nice quit place because I feel when I read in a nice quit place I can picture all the action, drama and mystery. When I read a book I feel like all my worries and all my surroundings just disappear or go away too. Books to me are just an amazing adventure of life. That keep you wondering and excited. I like to read in the car. Every time we go somewhere I try to make sure I have a book in the car. When I read a book in the car I feel like it makes time fly by. Also when I read in the car I feel like the movement of the car makes me more into the book and it relaxes my brain to read more and grow my vocabulary. I feel like the more I read the stronger I become at school skills and at life skills. No matter what I read it always relaxes me and makes me feel good about myself. I think everyone should read because I think it will help them at everything they do. That is why I read. Good job Tatum!!!! I love your post because it is so detailed!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!

I read for a couple of reasons. First because when I am mad at my brother or just plain mad I like to read and it calms me down. Second reason is because when I am bored I just kick back and read a book and it keeps me occupied. Third I have to read or I will get in trouble. Fourth I like to learn about stuff if it is a science book or the world records. Fifth I read because I have to know what my home work says.Sixth it is a very enjoyable thing to do.

I read for lots of reasons. I read for fun! I read for information like when I bake. I love to read! Most of my hobbies have to do with reading. My three main hobbies are baking, acting, and reading. When I act I'm reading for fun but also read to memorize my lines. I love acting because you might be reading but you put yourself in the characters position. Not just when I act I put my self in the characters position but also when I'm just reading. Sometimes when I read for fun I get in the characters position. That's another reason why I read! I love to bake! No matter what you make when you bake you always need to read the directions. When I bake I pull out my cook books and start from scratch. Most recipes have lots of things to read like ingredients, tools, and the process. When I bake I read the directions. Most of the time when I need information it's for baking. That's why I mainly read for information! I told you why I read so why do you?!

I mite read sum books to be inspire It is inspiring to ear a servile story. It mite be a sad story that inspire me. I like ashen books they are insisting. When the main character is running for his life and you think he is going to die.
