Okay so Massie Block is the main character in my book and she and Claire live together(only because Claire and Massie's dad's knew each other from school.) Massie doesn't like Claire so she's mean to her and her group of friends (Dylan, Alicia and Kristen.) also pick on Claire and at the end of the day Claire found out that you cant just be friends with Massie Block you have to earn her trust and friendship. And I would not change a thing because then the whole story wont be the same it would be totally different.

A decision in my book was when Clary Fray ran away from Jace and went back to her apartment because her mom was getting attacked by something. When she got there she didn't find her mom, but she got attacked by the same demon and she almost died because of her decision. If I was her, I would hesitate to go because I wouldn't know what would happen, but I would go because I would want to know what happened and if my mom was okay. It would be similar because basically I am doing the same thing Clary did. It would be changing the book because I hesitated to go to the apartment, the demon could have left and already taken her mom and Clary wouldn't have gotten attacked by the demon and that would change the whole book!! And that's what I would do if I was in Clary's shoes!! And my book is "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones!

In the book I am reading now the main character, Michael Vey, and his new friend, Taylor, made the decision to look up at Pasadena Hospital on Taylor's computer. They weren't thinking about the people trying to find them. The people are trying to find them because Taylor and Michael have special powers. They were not thinking about, maybe, there are bugs on the website it would let the people know that someone is looking at that exact website, and where they are.
If I was in Michael's or Taylor's shoes I would've thought about the fact that we might be found. The story wouldn't be similar at all because I would have chosen not to look up the births. It would be way different because Taylor wouldn't have let those people know where they are by looking at that page. My actions would change the story because I wouldn't have been found so soon.

Describe a decision made by the main character. If you were in his/her shoes what decisions would you make in the same situation? How would it be similar? How would it be different? How would your actions change the story? Be sure to add specific details to support your comments. In my book, Shadow (main character) had to make a decision of either going with Sir Kenway into the dark and scary cave to get away from the spies or leave the Sir, and find a new way to Deor (a city where Shadow needs to go) and she picks to go with Sir Kenway.
If I was in Shadows shoes, I would probably find another way because I don't like dark and scary places, and I also wouldn't really want to go with someone who thought I killed the queen. And someone who is very rude, and demanding to Shadow.
It would be similar because it was night outside and it would still be dark, but not so as scary because of the moon, but it would be different because the spies would have a chance of getting me and killing me, which would probably not be very good. It would definitely change the story because if the spies did get me, the story would probably end there, because the book is mainly about Shadow. But it might go on and talk about other characters that are a big part of the story, too. Such as people like, Sir Kenway, or Eldred, an old soldier who very much dislikes Shadow, or Fryen, a close friend of Shadow.

In my book Jenna went to an audition with her friend bea. They all audition for the role of a princess in a movie and the only reason Jenna was there was because bea wanted her to go with her. Jenna asked her mom the day before if she could go and her mom said no. So she had the choice to go to the audition or to not go.
She decided to go. She also got in by her looks the people said they could tell she was good or it by her looks. So she went to play in the movie. If I was her I would go I mean who wouldn't want to be audition to be in a movie. I wouldn't even have to actually go it would just be awesome to be told that I was good enough to be in. But since they let me go just by my looks I would be a little suspicious. I probably wouldn't actually go. If I was Jenna the book wouldn't even be the book. Its about her after she choose to be in the movie. I wouldnt want to disobey my mom even more and play the part. The book would have to take place in my area but it doesn't. Because to play the part they had to go to the real princesses house. The whole book would have to change. So if I was jenna I wouldn't go to play the part in the movie but I would audition.

How would your actions change the story? Be sure to add specific details to support your comments. My main character(s) are a boy named Ryan and another boy that is in first person, so I don't know his name. Him and Ryan are in a situation. Ryan asked his mom if his brother and him can go to a musical. His mom said where is it at? Ryan said in New York. His mom said you can not drive there, it will be to dark and I am using the car. If I was him I would ask my dad and my mom if my brother and I can go? It would be similar because I asked my mom too. The differences is that I would have asked my mom and dad than just asking his mom. My actions will change the story because my dad and mom would say yes because I would do something nice. Then they will say yes and then the boy and I will go to the musical.

I'm reading 13 Treasures and the main character in the book is Tanya. Tanya made a decision to see her family but she has to do somethings for Red before Red would take her home. Tanya has a limit, if she don't get everything on the list that Red gave her then she will stay in the fairy world. (Red is an evil fairy and he is taking life from young children and the child would have to live with Red and in the fairy world.)
If I was in Tanya shoes I would do what she is doing because I would miss my family and would you want to be stuck with a evil fairy? I know I wouldn't! I think the situation be similar because she is kinda like me, we are both adventurous. My actions would not change the story because I would do exactly what she is doing now.

In my book Rescue Josh McGuire is about a boy who runs off with a bear cub, his dog, and his brother's motorcycle. When his dad orphans a bear cub, Josh has to make a decision on weather he should keep the cub and run off with it or hand it over to the officials. In that point of the story when he had to choose what to do I would have just gave the bear to the officials and have stayed at home. That's what I would have done if I was in his shoes.

I am reading a book called I.Q. white house. The main character Q is trying to make a decision if he wants to be in a situation where his stepsister Angela is having big deal where everyone thinks her mother is dead and she is not (with terrorist and FBI) or he could stay out of it and just go on with his normal life.
If I was in his shoes I would go with the situation with his stepsister because if my mom was in a band I'd like to be protected. It would be similar because he makes that same exact decision himself. It would be different because I don't have a mom in a band. My actions would change the story because I'd always be looking around if my mom was in band.

If I was the main character in my book Cut. I would change the story around it wouldn't really be the same. I wouldn't cut myself to feel the pain and make myself bleed I wouldn't cut myself at all. It would still be similar in a way because she still wouldn't be able to see her mom much. But the book would be different because she would have friends and be able to talk to people at her school and not be afraid to where people might see where she cut herself. She wouldn't always have to go to the school nurse from fating in class because of cutting herself. Also the lady that takes care of all these girls wouldn't have to pay special attention on her to make sure she's not going to go and hurt herself. My actions would change the story because the girl wold have close to a normal life and she would be more happy then what she is. She might even be able to go and see her mom often instead of just getting letters and calls. Also no one would be scared of the girl no more they would actually go up top her and try to make friends and talk to her.So the girl light end up being more happier which the girl wouldn't of even cut herself if she was happy and had friends and a real family.

I recently got a new book it is the sequel to the Hatchet. It is called Brian's Winter. This book is mainly about a boy named Brian who is trying to survive in the Canadian wild winters with only a hatchet.
Brian recently shot a rabbit and was cutting the good and the bad parts out of the rabbit then cooked the rabbit. The bad refers to has the intestines. He was doing this near his shelter which will effect him later. The next morning Brian woke up to the clattering of his pots and pans. Soon to find out that it was one of his worst enemies an male brown bear.there are a couple of things would do differently. I would have little area about three hundred yards away from my main camp for gutting animals. I also would boil water in my pot that I cooked to prevent any uninvited guests. I would also have separate place for different things such as cooking area, gutting area, homestead area, latrine area, and hunting area. If Brian would have done these little choirs then the bear incident may have been prevented.

The book I am reading is called The Death Cure. Thomas's best friend Newt was infected with the flare. Newt did not want to become a crank which is a person infected with the flare and will eventually die. He begged Thomas to shoot him and put him out of his misery. Thomas did not want to but finally gave in and killed his best friend. If I was in Thomas's shoes I do not think I could kill my best friend. It would be similar because so many other people would still be infected, but it would be different because Newt would still have the flare but would become a killer himself and the flare would spread even faster. My actions would change the story because Thomas might have gotton killed because Newt might have killed him and more people might have died because Newt might have killed them.

My book is Nancy's Mysterious Letter. The main character is Nancy. A decision made by the main character is.... "The bride and the groom, or the couple, are going traveling, probably by air. I think that was the reference to the stars. And it will be a night flight. " Why couldn't it be on a ship?" Mrs.Roderick asked. Ned grinned. "I think I can guess that one. The quotations mentioned that the stars had governed the conditions. That could mean weather. If it's a bad night, their plane wouldn't be able to take off." Mrs.Roderick looked at the list again. "Here's one you haven't told us the meaning of. It says, Better three hours too soon than a minute too late." "That is puzzling," Nancy admitted, " but my guess is that Nancy Smith Drew, having some real doubts about the whole thing, wishes that you, Mrs.Roderick, could come to the plane before she flies."
A decision I would make if I were in her shoes is... Who could have sent this? Who is doing this to me? Why? Who stole the letters? What do they want of me? Do they not want me to break the mystery? Am I in danger? Whats going to happen to me? Should I be afraid? Should I quit? No I will never quit till I solve this mystery, I am determined not to give up! This is similar because it is almost the same thing she said when she started the mystery. This is different because she wouldn't say this she mite be thinking it though, when she starts a mystery, but she is brave and determined to solve the mystery and not be scared.
My actions would change the story because fore one thing she is way older and is able to drive I wouldn't be able to drive, and I would be a little scared cause what if something happens to me, or sometimes in the story I would give up if I were her cause that seems really hard to be able to fine the person who did it, and the last thing is I would just go to the police and say here's a mystery see if you can solve it cause I can't. And that's the main character in my book.

One of the decisions made by one of my main characters is when he left Misty in her cabin when she said her head started to hurt and she told them to go away after Mark and Alec found out that the darts that had been shot at them contained a highly contagious virus. And then when Mark looked one last time Misty was curled up in a ball whispering a couple of words words and then when they started to walk away Mark thought he heard what sounded like singing. What I would do if I were Mark is after Misty said go away is I would say "okay I'm going" and then wait outside of her cabin and check every couple minutes. Because If one of my friends head started hurting after I found out there was a highly contagious virus I would b worried especially if I was about to walk away and she started singing.
