I think we should only get very few homework assinments because we usually we go over it in class. Also some kids have sports and it makes it hard to do homework.I also think we should have a lot a homework in sixth grade because this year set's are life up because if you have good grade's you take advance classes in seventh and eighth grade then high school then collage. So the more homework we get the more grades we get the better chance we have to get good grades. Also we will get a good job when we grow up. I am not tiring to be mean but this is what I think we should do. I think Student should have a lot of homework because if a kid does not no how to do something. When they do it and they git a bad grad. The teacher the will know that the student is having problem with then they can help the student get a better grade then what they had. Then when the student has a test me can git a better grade and he/she will think I am going to keep studding and studying getting a better grade at what he is doing. So this is What I think about homework.

I don't think think we should have a lot. Maybe one paper every now and then to help out our grade but come on don't drowned us in homework!!! So yeah I do not think we should have a lot of homework that takes up a lot of time. So like a paper every so often would be good. Like I'm not gonna sit here and act like we should never have homework because we should have a tiny bit. For an example if you have a bad grade and need to get it up homework can really help you out sometimes. So there is my opinion on how much homework we should have. I disagree with you, I think students should have more than " a tiny bit" of homework because to me I think that homework helps me because it is like practice and some people need that. Also It is a way to get your grade up and I know you said that but they need more than a tiny bit!!! I know that people don`t like homework and that`s fine but I think I helps everybody in a way. I think that this also a way to get smarter and understand stuff. I know everybody at one point of the day they get distracted by something but when you have homework you can sit down and think and ask your parents if you don`t understand something. That is why I disagree with you and those are my reasons that I think we should have homework. Sydney Sydey I think you are right.

I think we should have one homework from one class a day, and then the next day they could have another classes homework. I think that because its helpful because children do half of their homework then they have lots of choirs and have sports to go to and then when they are done with sports, or choirs they forget about their homework when its time to go to sleep. It helps them by studying a page a day and not forgetting their homework. It doesn't hurt but it good for letting them have a page a day.

How Much Homework Should a Sixth Grade Student Have? Should students have homework? How much? Why? How does it help? How does it hurt? Why do teachers give homework?
This is an example of how much homework a sixth Grade Student should have and why teachers give homework. A sixth grade student should have at least some kind of homework every night. It helps them be more responsible and it helps teachers know if the students have been listening in class. For example, if Luke hasn't been listening in class and has been day dreaming instead. He is so lost in space that when he gets home to do his homework it seems like he has never heard it before.
This is an example of why sixth grade students have homework and how it helps. A sixth grade student should have at least one paper every night to remember what they are doing in class. For example, if we learned about The Great China Wall and I forgot when China built it and why. Homework about it would help me remember what we did in class.
This is an example of how it hurts. For example it takes away time from other things, like practicing at sports. I practice all the time so I'm not so cool with having a lot of homework every night. It takes away time that I could be using to make myself better at sports.

I think that students should have homework, but not too much. I think that students should have about two papers to do each night because I think homework makes you smarter and it helps your teacher know what you do understand and what you don't understand. I think that homework is a good thing to make you more knowledgeable in what you are doing in school.
I think that homework is sometimes a bad thing when the teachers pile a lot of homework on us one night and we may have commitments that night and we may not have a lot of time to do homework. Another time homework sometimes becomes a problem is when we might not understand the homework and then the homework becomes really hard!!!
I think that kids should have homework each and every night except Fridays but not too much to wash out our brains!!!

Hello in this blog post I will talk about how much homework should have in sixth grade. So how much homework do you think sixth graders should have? So here is my blog post on how much homework sixth graders should have.
I think we should have homework because well here is an example. say a collage is only taking 200 people and they have 300.people they will go back as far as sixth grade. So we are building up our live to go to good collages.
So that is how much homework we should have because it builds up your live and it builds potential. So how much homework should we have in sixth grade? Because this where I stand. Were do you stand in this question of the week?

I think we should get at least one or two assignments for homework and none on Fridays. I do not like homework because I could be on my phone or doing something I want to do. I think we should only have one paper and that's it because it waste time and if you have homework and you have to go somewhere you get into trouble at school. Then your parents will be mad because you got an bad grade on that paper. It will help because I wouldn't have a lot of homework to do and I wouldn't have to get in much trouble by the teacher for halfting to go somewhere and can't do my homework. It would hurt because we would get really bad grades and get grounded if you didn't do your homework.

Yes we should so we can get smarter. We should at least get 2-3 pages a day. I don't really like homework but I will try my best to do it.

I think students should have small amounts of homework. Not an enormous amount that students have to keep working on homework all night. A fair amount of homework is one or two pages Homework is important for many reasons. For example If teachers don't give out any homework it is not good for the students of the class.Because it does not give the students any personal responsibility.

I think teachers should give out homework, but not so much that it takes you three hours to do it.
Like when I was in 3rd grade my teacher would give us so much that it took me two to three hours to do it all. Some nights I had to go somewhere like soccer practice, but thankfully it was only at the beginning of the year and not the whole year.
When I got home from school and it was a soccer night I had to get started with homework. I got home at three or four o'clock and soccer was at five or six o'clock, so I didn't have that much time to get it all done if my mom had to help my sister with hers too.
That is why I'm glad in sixth grade we don't have that much homework and that we only have it once in a while. We have to read every night and that's fine because you have to, to get smarter and be a better reader. That's how much homework I think we should have.

I think students should have homework but not too much. Not too much that it makes your backpack weigh 500 pounds, just enough to make you remember what to do. I hate when teachers tell me that if I don't get it done in class that I have to take it home, and then give 2 pages of nothing but spelling or multiplying, stuff that we already know . I think if it is something we already have down, don't give homework for it. It's kind of weird. Like I don't even have to ask my parents to check it! For example, usually in the HALLWAY we usually have to read, and occasionally study for a science test or a math sheets. Nothing that important. We always have reading homework. Mr. McGuire says that we have to at least read 15 minutes 4 times. Mrs. Hardin usually teaches good enough in class that most of us understand it, but if it's a hard subject she gives us homework. Mrs. Webb rarely gives homework. Ms. Huysman gives homework just for test. Or occasionally she gives it to us for information. I only think a little bit of homework is good enough. Not 500 pounds worth, but just right. It's like the 3 bears. The 500 pound is to big. None is too small. Enough is just right! I you are absolutely right! I think we should have homework but not 500 pounds. We usually have homework if we are going over something or have a test the next day. Mrs. Webb doesn't really give homework if we have a test or we didn't get a paper finish. Mrs. Huysman gives homework if we have a test the next day. Mrs.Hardin gives homework if we didn't finish or if we have a new thing to learn and she give homework to see how much we know about that one thing. Mr. McGuire almost always has us read over the night and it's always due that Friday. Yes I think we have just enough.

I think that students should have just a little bit of homework. Not a lot where it could make your book bag break! I think that we should only have a little bit because when you have five hundred things to do for homework you might accidentally forget about one thing when you have a lot of things to do. Another reason is what if you have a lot of things going on that night like you have basketball practice and your brother or sister have a game, you don't want to be doing homework at 11:00 at night! So every other night I think that we should have maybe 1 math paper to do, read at home and nothing else. Maybe study for a test every other night when you have a test the next day but I don't think that you should have to study every night or anything like that.
I think that our teachers this year give good amounts of homework. Like read at home every night, a math paper every once and a while, study for a test, and finish a missing assignment if you have one, but sometimes we do have a lot and I get very stressed out if I just don't understand it or I just have so much of it I have to do.
So I don't think that we students should have a lot I think just a little bit!

Homework I our hallway has the perfect amount of homework. If they really gave us 500 pounds of homework it would be hard to get it all done in one day.
